This research was based on the changing of the world's view from Revolution Era 3.0 to 4.0.. The main problem is 'Are the now day's materials of Civic Education still sufficient to provide citizen's literation or competencies to live in the Revolution Era 4.0? In order to answer the problem, the library research was used.. For analyzing the data, the writers used the content analysis method. The finding of this research are Competence or literacy needed is encultured through citizenship education containing at least three aspects to achieve someone becomes a good citizen among others. First aspects is knowledge; The second aspect is Value and Attitudee and The third aspect is skills. Entering and living in the fourth industrial revolution or revolution 4.0 is not just applying the three literacies aspects explained above, the citizen also needs more new literacies, namely iinformation and technology, English and good humanity.

Ideology dissemination via historical documentaries provide an advantage to the government in implementing national policies. The characteristics of documentary films which represent 'reality' allow varied interpretations to reach their target audiences. It is thus imperative that the audience's understanding and interpretation be parallel with the ideology that the government wants to convey as to avoid the misinterpretation of information. However, studies have shown that audiences' interpretations are not always in line with what the producer intends to communicate. As such, the objective of this research is to analyse factors affecting youth media literacy in understanding and interpreting the ideology of historical documentary films titled The Malayan Emergency (2010). Audiences especially youths have their own views and opinions on any documentary film they watch. Experimental results show that critical thinking, media aesthetics and the exposure to the Internet actually affect ideological interpretations in historical documentary films. Among others, the results of the experimental study also showed that cognitive thinking skills and education backgrounds of youth have influenced the interpretation and understanding of historical documentary films. The interpretation and understanding of youth in ideology towards historical documentary films are influenced by individual factors (educational background and cognitive thinking), media texts (media aesthetic) and external factors (exposure to Internet). Thus, individual factors are the key aspect of media literacy to interpret messages critically.

Digital storytelling has many implications in teaching and learning. As a way to communicate ideas, experiences, beliefs, and topics to an audience through the use of technology and multimedia, digital stories help storytellers acquire many different skills and literacies. The most important aspect is that the storyteller learns to create stories using their personal voice and interpretation to be shared with a larger community. Self-expression is encouraged and confidence can be developed through the creation of digital stories. This paper examines digital storytelling from an instructional and learning perspective. Areas such as the implications of digital storytelling in education, the process of planning and developing stories, and a discussion of various tools to create digital stories are included. Digital storytelling can provide storytellers with an avenue for conveying ideas and information that are personal in nature or more informational.
