School closure policies during the covid-19 pandemic have changed from face-toface to online learning. This change inevitably impacts the unpreparedness of schools, parents, and students in managing learning, which may cause learning loss in children. On its official page, the Indonesian Ministry of Education stated that due to the covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of online learning had caused a significant learning loss. This study analyses the risk of learning loss due to online learning in Indonesia in terms of children's future adversity. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with survey techniques using Google Form and data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model through three stages: reduction, display, and data verification. This study involved 1229 elementary school students spread over 82 cities from 34 provinces in Indonesia. The results showed that there has been learning loss in children in the form of low academic and life skills achievement indicated by difficulty in understanding subject matters (cognitive domain), lack of confidence in expressing opinions (affective domain), and difficulty in accomplishing projects or learning tasks (psychomotor domain). The implication of learning loss is the decline in the quality of abilities, academic achievement, competitiveness, and welfare of children in the future. The results of this research could be recommended as a reference for educational practitioners and insights for future research.

Selama masa pandemi COVID-19, pembelajaran online menjadi alternatif untuk penyelesaian masalah pendidikan di Indonesia. Keterbatasan pelaksanaan pembelajaran pembelajaran online di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini mengakibatkan gangguan perkembangan pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gangguan perkembangan apa saja pada anak usia dini selama pembelajaran online. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan orang tua. Partisipan melibatkan 125 anak, 8 orang tua, dan 7 guru di 4 lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik deskriptif dan content analysis. Pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder dengan melakukan observasi lapangan dan wawancara. Display data penelitian dengan menggunakan program aplikasi ATLAS.ti. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pembelajaran daring berpengaruh pada gangguan perkembangan psikososial yaitu terbatasnya interaksi anak dengan orang lain dan berkurangnya keterampilan anak berkomunikasi. Gangguan ini berimplikasi pada keterasingan anak dalam kehidupan sosialnya sehari-hari.

Many factors influence the development of elementary school students and their education. The online learning he experienced was one of them. This is due to the lack of stimulation during online learning, many teachers have difficulty in making learning modules and managing distance learning, the busyness of parents due to work results in a lack of assistance in learning and playing for children. This study was aimed at determining the developmental disorders in elementary school children during online learning. The participants in this study were teachers and parents at four private elementary school institutions in Medan. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive techniques and content analysis. Collecting data through field observations and interviews. ATLAS.ti aplication used to displays research data. Research findings show that online learning has an effect on psychosocial development disorders of children at elementary school age, namely the limited interaction of children with other people and reduced communication skills. This disorder has implications for the alienation of children in their daily social life.
