The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia, requires students and teachers to study from home in order to maintain their safety and health. However, entering the new normal era, people and even schools have started to carry out their usual activities while still paying attention to health protocols. Even though the learning process is still carried out online and offline, it is a challenge in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study is to analyze the mathematical reasoning abilities of students who take part in online and offline learning and to describe the attitudes of students who take online and offline learning towards learning mathematics in circle material. This research is an experimental research with the research instruments used are tests of mathematical reasoning abilities and questionnaires for implementing online and offline learning. This research was conducted on students of grade 11 science at SMA Negeri 14 Central Maluku. Based on the results of the study it was found that the mathematical reasoning abilities of students who received online and offline learning were more effective in the experimental class with the Inquiry-Discovery model compared to the control class. Thus learning using online and offline is suitable to be applied in learning mathematics, because students seem more active in solving the questions given by the teacher.

Setelah tiga tahun berturut-turut nilai matakuliah kalkulus integral mengalami penurunan, maka diadakan pembelajaran yang melibatkan mahasiswa lebih aktif yaitu dengan model pembelajaran snowball throwing. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran snowball throwing dengan pembelajaran langsung. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa teknik informatika semester 2 di salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Kota Tegal tahun ajaran 2022/2023, sedangkan sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yang diambil secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis tipe uraian. Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dapat diketahui dengan perhitungan gain. Hasil Uji gain kelas eksperimen adalah 0,56 dan kelas kontrol adalah 0,35. Kedua kelas berada pada kriteria sedang. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran snowball throwing lebih baik dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran langsung.

This study aims to determine the mathematical reasoning ability and self-esteem of high school students in class XI in the science program in learning mathematics for the subject matter of linear programming. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The sample in this study was 20 students who would be given a test in the form of a description of five questions and a self-esteem questionnaire totaling twenty-six statements. Analysis of research data was carried out by analyzing the results of students' answers according to indicators of mathematical reasoning abilities and the results of the self-esteem questionnaire given. The results of the analysis of students' answers obtained research results that (1) based on the results of the analysis of each indicator include: (a) Presenting mathematical statements in the form of pictures or writing, (b) Proposing allegations, (c) Carrying out mathematical manipulations, (d) Drawing conclusions, (e) Arranging evidence and providing reasons and solutions, and (f) Checking the validity of the arguments, the results are that students' mathematical reasoning abilities are categorized as very low; and (2) self-esteem analysis of students is categorized as good. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that the reasoning ability and self-esteem of the students of SMA Negeri 1 Talang Padang in class XI of the Linear Program material were categorized as good
