Influence of Spring Wheat Growing Conditions on Alpha-Amylase Activity in Grain

Abstract: The meteorological conditions in which organogenesis stages take place and hydrothermal regime can determine the phenotypic manifestation of quantitative signs, such as, for example, the activity of alpha-amylase. The purpose of our work was to determine what factors (temperature, precipitation, heterothermal coefficient) affect the enzyme activity, at what time of the vegetation, and in what way this influence is evident. The analysis of weather conditions and falling number (FN) for the period from 2011 to 2… Show more

“…Population growth required a 60% increase in food production over the next 35 years. Scientifically based development of measures aimed at improving the efficiency of irrigated lands, protecting soil cover from degradation processes, preventing them and increasing its productivity is one of the urgent tasks [11][12][13]. From this point of view, in the cultivation of agricultural crops in the areas affected by irrigation erosion in Uzbekistan, scientific researches on increasing the fertility of the soil through the use of biopreparations, the use of modern invented agrotechnological biopreparations, including the obtaining of high fiber quality results from the cotton crop, are considered urgent.…”

“…However, in order to obtain high and stable yields, an appropriate agricultural technique must be developed for it [10]. Modern models of farming consider the factors acting on cultivated plants -space, climatic, soil, biological, anthropogenic in mutual connection and dependence [11][12]. Yield is a product of the activity of genetic features inherent in the plant, climate, soil and people.…”
