Abstract: Buffer zone frequently offered to be a solution of conflict between biodiversity conservation inside conservation area with human interest in its surrroundings. These forest areas are the primary and upstream catchment areas of 17 rivers in Magelang, Semarang, and Boyolali Regencies (Gunawan et al, 2013).
