Long-term spreading of Gaussian beam using generalized modified atmospheric spectrum

Abstract: This paper investigates the long-term spreading radius of Gaussian beam propagating through the non-Kolmogorov turbulence along horizontal path. Based on the geometrical optics approximation and the property of Gamma function, the mathematical expression of the long-term spreading radius under the generalized modified atmospheric spectrum is reduced.
