Riverbank sediment, floodplain soil, bottom sediment, and surface water were taken at 16 sample points: Kichi-Kemin (KK), Shu (SH), Shor-Koo (SHK), Aksu (AK), Karabalta (KB), Toktas (TS-1, TS-2), Sargou (SG), Oirandy (OR-1, OR-2, OR-3, OR-4), Kayindysay (KS), Aspara (AS), Talas (TA), and Big Chu Canal (BCH) (Figure 1 [24]). During the analysis of the previous results of riverbank soil, floodplain soil and sediment, it was determined that the following hazardous elements are of the greatest interest for research: Pb, Mo, U, As, Th, and Li.…”
