Communication and information technology is growing exponentially and has proved to be fundamental to leverage the teaching-learning process, impacted by the need for distancing. The new methodologies in perspective for the use of ICT's (Information and Communication Technologies) were decisive in mitigating the damage to education in the Amazon. On the other hand, the agents of the educational process were 'forced' to learn new methodologies and pedagogical processes, impacting educational institutions, teachers and students either due to the lack of accessibility or knowledge necessary for such practice. In this sense, the problem arises, which methodologies and ICTs are used in the teaching-learning process in an Amazonian city during COVID-19. This research aims to analyze the methodologies and ICTs used in the teaching-learning process in an Amazon city during COVID-19. To achieve the objective, field research was carried out, using a questionnaire applied to teachers in a public high school in the city of Caco-al/RO. The ICTs used by the professors were identified, the difficulties encountered by them during the use of these tools, the management of time, communication and monitoring of students during the period were described. The results indicate that the use of ICT's was essential to continue the school calendar, as teachers and students continue to have some kind of contact, but teachers claim that remote teaching does not have the same quality as face-to-face teaching and that they do not intend to continue in remote mode.
