Open‐tubular capillary electrochromatography using carboxylatopillar[5]arene as stationary phase

Abstract: Pillar[n]arenes have achieved much interest in material chemistry and supramolecular chemistry due to unusual pillar shape structure and high selectivity toward guest. However, pillar[n]arenes have not yet been applied in capillary electrochromatography. This work at first time reports that carboxylatopillar[5]arene is used as a stationary phase in open-tubular capillary electrochromatography. Carboxylatopillar[5]arene not only possess the advantages of pillar[n]arenes but also provide free carboxy groups for … Show more

“…And it deserves notice that stimuli-responsive polymers [ 150 ] are a kind of potential material for protein isomerism and glycoisoform separation. Non-traditional materials [ 151 , 152 ] have also been used in OT column coatings for achiral separation. Some of these coatings partially solve the previous limitations of OT columns.…”

“…In recent years, there were many novel homo‐polymers or copolymers synthesized in order to meet the needs for the separation of different analytes . Liu and co‐workers reported an example of partially filled PLOT capillary column with immobilized pH gradient (PLOT‐IPG) for OT‐CEC analysis of amino acids and proteins.…”
