One of the effective efforts to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 is through Hand Washing With Soap (HWWS) behavior. HWWS behavior in elementary school students can be improved through health education. The focus of this study is to analyze the effect of health education on the HWWS behavior of elementary school students in Indonesia based on the results of previous studies during the 2016-2020 period. The method used in this study is a literature review using a flow chart of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) which has stages of identification, screening, feasibility, and inclusion. The initial search results for articles found 5,184 articles obtained from ProQuest and Google Scholar. Then the articles that were detected as duplicates and documents that were not open access were issued, resulting in 4,750 articles. After filtering by title and abstract, remaining 19 articles that matched the inclusion criteria were tested for feasibility. Then 10 articles that passed the feasibility test were synthesized qualitatively. It can be concluded that health education has a significant effect on the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of primary school students' HWWS behavior in Indonesia based on the results of previous studies during the 2016-2020 period.
Abstrak: Salah satu upaya efektif untuk mencegah penularan Covid-19 adalah dengan Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS). Upaya peningkatan perilaku CTPS pada siswa sekolah dasar dapat dilaksanakan melalui pendidikan kesehatan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap perilaku CTPS siswa sekolah dasar di Indonesia berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebelumnya selama rentang waktu 2016-2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review dengan menggunakan diagram alir Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) yang memiliki tahapan identifikasi, penyaringan, kelayakan dan disertakan. Hasil pencarian awal artikel menjaring 5.184 artikel yang didapatkan dari ProQuest dan Google Scholar. Kemudian artikel yang terdeteksi duplikat dan dokumen yang tidak open access dikeluarkan sehingga menghasilkan 4.750 artikel. Setelah penyaringan berdasarkan judul dan abstrak tersisa 19 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi untuk diuji kelayakannya. Kemudian 10 artikel yang lolos uji kelayakan disintesis secara kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil literature review ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik CTPS siswa sekolah dasar di Indonesia berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebelumnya selama rentang waktu 2016-2020.
