Pendidikan karakter adalah landasan awal untuk menciptakan generasi yang mempunyai moral ataupun akhlak yang mulia. Pendidikan karakter menjadi hal yang sangat diutamakan khususnya pada masa perkembangan anak sekolah. Pendidikan karakter membentuk siswa untuk mencontoh toladan yang baik dengan memahami figur Rasulullah SAW. Pendidikan Karakter dapat diterapkan melalui materi pembelajaran yang ada di sekolah, tidak terkecuali pelajaran PJOK. Pelajaran PJOK bisa menjadi bagian terpenting dalam pembentukan karakter dan perilaku anak. Melalui Pendidikan Jasmani siswa dikenalkan dengan pemahaman rasa tanggung jawab, sportifitas, jujur, adil dan penerapan nilai sosial. Hal ini menjadi penting dan perlu dilakukan oleh seorang pengajar Pendidikan jasmani di Sekolah khususnya di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Pendidikan Madrasah ibtidaiyah merupakan masa usia pembelajaran dasar yang bertujuan untuk membangun dasar karakter pada usai perkembangan anak untuk menuju masa perkembangan selanjutnya. Semakin baik guru membangunkarakter siswa maka akan memberikan manfaat berarti bagi perkembangan anak menghadapi perkembangan usia dewasa.
Basic motor ability is the ordinary potency students do to improve the quality of life. Basic motor ability is divided to three categories namely: locomotor, nonlocomotor, and manipulative. Motor ability at all age levels will increase if it’s done through a learning process as learning Physical Education in schools. Motor skills can be coached to improve ability of madrasah children among others: basic motor run, walk, throw, jump, gymnastics, and sports games. Basic motor skills can help developing students toward perfection level of motor in accordance with their age level. Coaching of basic motor skill level is expected students to gain a good development level of motor.<br />Key word: Basic Motor, Sports<br /><br />
Objective: This study aims to develop a small ball game model (in this case, a catch ball game) to determine students' motor and cognitive skills. The development of this small ball game model also aims to know students' cognition, such as cooperation, problem-solving, discussion, and critical thinking. Method: This study has a qualitative approach, using a checklist observation method to observe motor skills in throwing and catching a ball. In cognitive, students use the results of questionnaires and student interviews. Results: The results obtained from this study on the motor skills of catching the ball were 80% of students with a total of 26 students in categories according to the age level of the development of ball catching skills. 20% fall into the category that needs to follow the age level of the development of ball-catching skills. For motor skills in throwing the ball, 80% of students enter the category according to the age level of the development of skills in throwing the ball. Furthermore, 20% of students in the category need to follow the age level of skills development in throwing the ball. For cognitive students, the catch ball game shows behavior during games such as cooperation, problem-solving, discussion, and critical thinking. Novelty: This research was conducted at PES Rampal Celaket 02 Malang City. The results of this study can also help physical education teachers, especially learning small ball material to improve students and cognitive skills of fourth-grade elementary school students.
Providing energy on human being is formed in a system, called as energy system. Energy system on human being is provided in some kinds, one of them is aerobic system (aerobic system capacity) and anaerobic system (anaerobic system capacity). To increase energy system on the body, so it requires a regular exercise. The exercise that we does has purpose to increase our energy provision as maximum as possible, whether it is done through effort to increase aerobic capacity system or effort to increase anaerobic capacity system. Aerobic system is a work done regularly as long as possible, a muscle work that is general in nature in aerobic condition, whereas anaerobic capacity is a work that make us able to do regularly as long as possible, a muscle work that is general in nature in anaerobic condition. The effort to increase energy system in aerobic exercise on children is an effort to create qualified human being resource. Dari hasil penelitian di ketahui bahwa status kesegaran jasmani anak usia sekolah mulai dari tingkat pendidikan sekolah dasar (SD) sampai tingkat pendidikan SLTA di Indonesia pada umumnya ada dalam katagori rendah dan sedang, bila di bandingkan dengan nilai standart kesegaran jasmani menurut Asian Committee on the Standardization of Physical Fitnes Test (ACSPFT) (Kuntaraf, 1985). Salah satu faktor yang bisa terjadi adalah kurangnya usaha peningkatan kesegaran jasmani yang tidak di imbangi dengan mekanisme kebutuhan energi untuk bergerak khususnya pada masa anak-anak atau usia anak sekolah dasar. Kebutuhan energi bagi anak-anak menjadi hal yang utama yang perlu diperhatikan bagi seorang guru penjas. Karena anak-anak sekolah dasar adalah anak-anak dalam proses perkembangan.
