Circular Letter of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Number 11 of 2022 concerning Provisions for the Travel of Domestic Persons During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period is the basis for revoking the obligation for Rapid antigen tests for people who have received full doses of vaccines and booster vaccines, but are required to comply with health protocols. People who receive the first dose of the vaccine and who have not received the vaccine for reasons of special health conditions must show negative results from the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test. This regulation also applies to travellers who are fasting. One prohibition that must be avoided while fasting is putting something into the body. In response, the Indonesian Ulama Council issued fatwa number 23 of 2021 concerning the Swab Test to Detect Covid-19 While Fasting, which states that the swab test does not break fast. So it is necessary to study how the views of the Ulama on this fatwa and its relevance to the situation when this fatwa was decided. This study uses the method of literature review. The approach used is the ushul fiqh approach, and the theory used is istihsan. The primary legal material used is the MUI Fatwa Number 23 of 2021, and the secondary legal material used is books and journal articles. The purpose of this study was to find out the views of the Ulama on the results of the MUI's Ijtihad in establishing Fatwa Number 23 of 2021 so that there is no doubt when carrying out a swab test while fasting and whether this MUI fatwa is relevant to the situation at the time this fatwa was decided. The study's results show that Ulama's views on the results of the MUI's Ijtihad in establishing Fatwa Number 23 of 2021 are divided into two opinions. Most contemporary scholars say that the law on swab testing during fasting does not break the fast. According to the classical ulama, the Hambali and Shafi'i ulama declared it null and void. The Maliki school of thought believes there is a gap for the swab not to break the fast because it is a dry and solid object that does not reach the stomach. The Hanafi school believes that the swab is not invalidated because it does not enter the body perfectly. MUI's decision-making in establishing Fatwa No. 23 of 2021 is considered relevant to the situation when this fatwa was issued. This fatwa is an effort to emphasize the spread of Covid-19.

Islam upholds the principle of willing consent in marriage, prohibiting coercion, yet in the Lekuk Lima Puluh Tumbi Lempur Jambi community, forced marriages occur due to local customs, leading to negative consequences. The research method used was field research focusing on the Lekuk Lima Puluh Tumbi Lempur community, Jambi, Indonesia. The data obtained were analyzed and studied with Islamic law. The findings first show that the forced marriage occurs when a man and a woman return to the village after a late night. Second, factors behind these customary sanctions include religious, social and customary ones. Third, the impact of these customary sanctions is the occurrence of underage marriage and the resultant divorce. Fourthly, the marriage is contrary to Islamic law, because it involves coercion, even though the pillars of marriage are fulfilled, but the conditions of marriage are not fulfilled, so the law of marriage becomes fasid (broken). Therefore, as a consideration, if the sanction of forced marriage is carried out without regard to the cause, whether chronological or consensual, and age, but only based on customary coercion, then the customary sanction can cause more significant harm than benefit, so the custom must be abandoned.

Women's participation in Indonesian politics gives its own color for the democracy of the nation. The number of female voters in the DPT of General Election 2019 is greater than the number of male voters, becoming an important key to the future direction of Indonesia's politics, democracy, and governance. This causes women's voices to become significantly valuable as the entry gate for the struggle and the development of the face of Indonesian politics, democracy, and governance. In this study, descriptive qualitative method was used with the Secondary Data Analysis (ADS) approach which utilized secondary data as the main research data related to the phenomenon of women's choice in the 2019 Presidential Election. The main objective of the current research is to see and analyze the level of adherence, pragmatism, fanaticism, and political intelligence of Indonesian women in making decisions to give their vote in the Presidential Election 2019 in a philosophical study. In terms of democratic presidential elections, philosophically if we believe in a democratic system as a form of sovereignty in the hands of the people, it is appropriate that the people directly elect the executive authorities, which in this case are the president and vice president. The elected president and vice president will further be responsible for the people who choose them, in this case is taking care, protecting, and guaranteeing the welfare of all people, including women. Therefore, there are several factors behind women's decisions in determining or voting which pair of president and vice president they think is ideal.
