Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk: 1) memberi pengetahuan dasar tentang operasi hitung Matematika dalam menyelesaikan perkalian dengan jari-jari. 2) menghasilkan modul yang baik kepada para peserta siswa agar siswa memperoleh nilai yang maksimal dalam mengerjakan soal matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, praktek, tanya jawab, diskusi dan latihan dengan menggunakan modul jarimatika yang telah disiapkan. Pelatihan jarimatika dengan sistem kelas dengan menggunakan modul dan latihan. Pembinaan dan pelatihan yang diberikan adalah progam pengembangan diri mata pelajaran matematika pada materi operasi hitung perkalian. Pelatihan Jarimatika ini bertempat di SD N Donotirto Kasihan Bantul dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 24 orang siswa dan Guru. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah: 1) Memberikan materi dan latihan operasi hitung perkalian matematika dengan metode jarimatika kepada Guru dan Siswa. 2) Melalui modul jarimatika dapat memberikan pengetahuan, pemahaman yang benar pada guru dan siswa. Dampak dari kegiatan ini adalah guru dan siswa dapat memahami materi operasi hitung perkalian matematika secara benar, dan memiliki motivasi tinggi untuk mewujudkan nilai matematika yg bagus. Kemampuan Guru untuk memotivasi seluruh siswanya agar terhindar dari kegagalan dalam menyelesaikan operasi hitung perkalian.

Both Math and English are the two subjects that most of students have difficulty on it. To understand Math requires logical thinking that most of students do not have. To understand English, in which the written and sound are different with our first language, requires habit to hear and write English a lot. Students need to be accustomed to using English on everyday activities. In fact, most of students tend to use Javanese or Indonesian to communicate to others. Teachers also get difficulties on motivating students to learn Math and English for the better future. Some students have struggled to learn them, but still, the results are not satisfying.Observing this phenomenon, as the lecturers of English and Math, we are trying to help the teachers on giving material with the different point of views. We introduced different approaches on giving exposure to students about Math and English. English will be taught by employing Podcast, math will be introduced by using Geogebra. It is expected that teachers and students will have another perspectives; we can say that the teachers may have another style of teaching and students will get additional learning styles.

<table border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="369"><p>The research purpose was to produce learning material as the quality of Student Work Sheets based on contextual learning to facilitate Mathematics concept understanding skill of Junior High School student 7th Grade at triangle material and to describe the quality of Student Work Sheets that has a valid, simple and effective qualification. Student Work Sheets development based on Ministry of Education development model that adapted from Borg and Gall procedure development through some steps: (1) doing product development analysis, (2) developing beginning product, (3) expert’s validation and revision, (4) small-scale field test and product revision, and (5) significant scale field test and last product. Student Work Sheets quality described based on the marking result of material expert, media expert, and mathematics teacher for the validation aspect, student respond questionnaire and observation sheets of learning application for simplicity aspect, also a post-test question for affectivity aspect. The research result showed that the quality of Student Work Sheets product in validation aspect fulfill good and very good criteria based on the mark from a material expert, media expert, and assessor with the average score for each aspect was 4,19; 4,31; and 4,23. Simplicity aspect fulfills good and very good criteria based on the result of student respond questionnaire and observation sheets of learning application with the average score for each aspect was 3,55 and 93,68%. However, for affectivity aspect fulfill good criteria based on student post-test with the average score was 79,17 from the maximal score was 100 and completeness percentage was 69%.</p></td></tr></tbody></table>
