“…To the best of our knowledge, 113 cases of primary hepatic MALT lymphoma have been reported in 71 articles to date, 7 37 of which 80 cases (including our case) had relatively detailed clinical data ( Table 1 ). Among the patients in these 113 cases, 43 patients were men (38%) and 48 were women (42%) (the sex was not indicated in the remaining cases), with an age range of 30 to 89 years and a median age of 63.5 years.…”

“…Primary hepatic extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of MALT is a very rare neoplasm [6,31], histologically confirmed in only 3% of non-gastric MALT lymphoma patients [6]. Due to its scarcity, little is known on the epidemiology, clinical features, radiological investigation, and optimal treatment of this condition, as summarized in Table 2 [7,29]. Since there are few reported cases of hepatic extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of MALT that include CEUS findings [32,33], the entity's typical CEUS characteristics have not yet been defined.…”

“…Primary hepatic mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma is relatively rare, accounting for only 2-4% of primary hepatic lymphomas [1]. Patients usually have no special clinical symptoms, and most of the cases are incidentally found during the imaging examination of surgery or follow-up observation of liver-related diseases.…”
