Secure Data Exchange Based on Wireless Sensor Network for Environmental Monitoring Using Dynamical Attributed Based Encryption

Abstract: The basics Internet of things based on Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has grown rapidly in Industrial Revolution 4.0. Many researchers use the Wireless Sensor Network technology for obtaining the sensor data and stored in the Data Center. The collected data through WSN from an environment was sent to a Data Center. In the Data Center, all the sensor data can be accessed by everyone using their devices. In this case, the user can get the data with a smartphone, laptop, and personal computer through the HTTP Prot… Show more

“…One negative impact of this development is the increase in urban temperature, known as the UHI effect [11]. UHI is a phenomenon observed in urban environments where higher air temperatures are recorded in urban areas compared to the surrounding rural areas [12]. The UHI phenomenon is caused by the interaction between human activities, such as dense urban development, the use of heat-absorbing building materials, deforestation, and industrial activities, with the physical and thermal characteristics of the urban environment [13].…”

“…In summary, this system adopts more advanced and convenient methods to measure UHI and vegetation density in a specific area. Studies [12], [14], [19], [20], [21], [22] have conducted UHI data analysis through remote sensing of Land LST and NDVI values. NDVI is an index used to measure the quantity and quality of vegetation in an area by utilizing the difference in reflectance between near-infrared (NIR) and red in satellite imagery or aerial photos.…”

“…Moreover, our research boundaries are well-defined, focusing exclusively on Banjarbaru's administrative region and considering variables such as surface and air temperatures, humidity, and carbon absorption. This focused approach allows us to develop a comprehensive spatial model that will include data from satellite imagery, field data, and WSN [9], providing robust insights into thermal comfort and urban greenery's effectiveness in mitigating UHI effects. This methodological framework sets the stage for a novel contribution to the field, emphasizing the need for integrated social and biological considerations in urban forest functions and low-carbon city development, addressing gaps identified in previous studies.…”

“…Overall, the Internet of Things is a rapidly growing field, with the potential to change the way we live and work through the integration of technology into everyday objects, allowing for greater automation and connectivity. Almost all technologies are connected and integrated with the internet, one of which is a smart city for environmental monitoring or what is known as environmental monitoring using a wireless sensor network (WSN) [3], [4]. A wireless sensor network typically operates in the following way:…”
