Wireless sensor networks in internet of thing era have many applications, one of them for environment system, in environmental monitoring system everybody can access data anytime and anywhere. Information was collected using wireless sensor network, all of the data will be sent and stored in the data center. All of data in the data center can be accessed by users through HTTP protocol using a laptop, smartphone and Personal computer. The data in the data center must be secured and the data should be protected from the illegal access by the users from the environment monitoring. To secure the data from the illegal access by the user then the environment monitoring required a security with revocation aspect and encryption the data. CP-ABE (Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption) becomes a solution for this issue, to protect the sensor data and revoke the user. We propose a secure system using CP-ABE with user revocation for protecting the data in data center. Our system is not only encrypting the data sensor, but also revoke to the user. Our experiments system using CP-ABE showed the result for secure the sensor data and revoked the user who does not have the access rights. there are only 2 second processing time for revocation check users.
The basics Internet of things based on Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has grown rapidly in Industrial Revolution 4.0. Many researchers use the Wireless Sensor Network technology for obtaining the sensor data and stored in the Data Center. The collected data through WSN from an environment was sent to a Data Center. In the Data Center, all the sensor data can be accessed by everyone using their devices. In this case, the user can get the data with a smartphone, laptop, and personal computer through the HTTP Protocol. Data Center without protection from illegal access is extremely dangerous. All the sensor data stored in the data center can be intercepted, tracked, and even changed by a user without access. There is required a security mechanism for protecting all of the data stored in the Data Center. Ciphertext Policy Attributed-Based Encryption can be deployed as a security mechanism for protecting all the sensor data in the Environmental Monitoring. The security mechanism protected Data Center with encryption, decryption, verification, and revocation access for all the users. The only user with the access right can get the sensor data from environmental monitoring. Our security mechanism offers revocation and verification with a dynamic attribute for each user with a lower computational time. We used the CP-ABE with Dynamical attribute and timestamp digital signature based on Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) 384 bits.
Internet of things grown very rapidly, one of them is application smartcity for monitoring the environment. The environmental monitoring use the wireless sensor networks (WSN) technology to collect all of the data. All the data collected by the WSN will be sotred in the Data Center, where all of the data in the Data Center can be accessed by the user everytime and everywhere. The data center without security mechanism is very dangerous because all of data can be tracked and even modified by the users. There are need security mechanism for securing the data and monitoring access from each user. Chipertext Policy Attribute Based-Encryption (CP-ABE) with Authentication and Revocation can become a solution for this problem, where all of data in the data center can be protected with encryption and decryption mechanism. Its jut not protect the data, the security will give a guarantee for originality in the data and can give a control access for user who did the illegal access. The user who did the illegal access will be revoked by the system. Our security mechanism using the CP-ABE and timestamp digital signature using Rivest, Shamir Adleman (RSA) 2048 does not affect to performance of the system.
