At room temperature, YBCO possesses a relatively high temperature coefficient of resistance, −3.5% K −1 , and a high pyroelectric coefficient, up to 20 µC cm −2 K −1. In this work, we report on the cryogenic characterization of semiconducting Y-Ba-Cu-O thin films on substrates in response to 100 fs optical pulses at 810 nm and suspended thin film pixels in response to chopped broadband infrared radiation. The temperature dependence of the zero-bias pyroelectric response of the detectors is reported.
