Die Einwirkuiig von concentrirter Salpetersaure auf verschiedene Amidosulfosauren ist schon vor langerer Zeit (1 874) im L i m p richt'schen Laboratorium untersucht worden. Ueber die folgenden Sulfosauren liegen ausfuhrlichere Mittheilungen l o r :p-Toluidin-6-suZfosuure (CH,.NH,.SO,II = 1, 4, 6 ) l). p-Toluidin-5-sulfosuure (CH,.NH,.SO,H = 1, 4, 5) ,).Nach den Augaben solleu diese vier Sauren durch Salpetersaure in Nitrodiaaosulfosauren ubergehen.Bei den Versuchen im hiesigen Institut, die anfangs nur gelegentlich anderer Arbeiten vorgenommen wurden, ergab sich bald, dass Amidosulfosauren verschiedener Stellung durchaus nicht das gleiche Verhalten zcigten ; einige lieferten Diazosulfosauren, andere dagegen als Hauptproducte Nitrarnine. So erhielt M a u 6 b, aus m-Xylidin-6-s~lfosa~~re (CH,.CH,.NH,.SO,€I = 1,3,4,6) eine Nitrodiazoxylolsulfosaure, wahrend E 11 e n b e r g e r ti) und M a1k o m e s i u s 7 ) aus p-Xylidinsulfosdure (CH,.C€I,.NII,SO,H = 1: 4,2, 5) und o-Totukdi~z-5-suZfosuure (CH,.NIT,.SO,€I = 1,2, 5) keine Diazosulfosauren erhalten konnten.In beiden Fallen entstanden unter Ersatz der Sulfogruppe durch die Nitrogruppe und gleichzeitigen Eintritt einer weiteren (CII,.Br.NH,.SO,H =
