The implementation of KKNI (Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia/national standard-based curriculum), especially in PTKIS (Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Swasta/Private Islamic Higher Education) demands the role of its study program leaders. The purpose of this study was to explore the implementation of KKNI curriculum on several perspectives: role, performance, teaching steps, understanding factors related to the distribution KKNI, and impact to education in Indonesia. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, including interview, observation, and documentation as technique for collecting data and triangulation technique for ensuring data validity. The results indicated that the performance of eight heads of PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam/Islamic education) Study Program was not in optimum condition as a determinant of the direction, representative of spokesperson, communicator, mediator, and integrator. The implementation of the curriculum was also not effective yet. Then, the factors that influence the implementation are the lack of resources, time, campus ethics, knowledge support, professional interests and attitudes. To understand this condition, we also investigated the impact of knowledge, in which the result showed no information regarding what the policy/program offers, what the target group needs, and why the average student's score is still low. National accreditation, in the eight PAI Study Programs, did not reach the excellence category. Thus, the performance on the study program has not been accountable and will have implications for the weakness of social legitimacy.
This article discusses Ahmad Tafsir's thought about the management of forming Insan Kamil, through a study of literature focused on the criteria of human kamil, its characteristics and its relation to the objectives of Islamic education. It is known that the general purpose of Islamic education is to strive for the development of human potential to achieve the perfection of insan kamil, people of faith, piety, and obedient worship to Allah SWT. The perfect Muslim is the man who has smart and intelligent mind, strong body, pious heart to Allah SWT, and good skill, is able to solve the problems scientifically and philosophically, possesses and develops science, philosophy, and heart that is capable of connecting with the supernatural. The eight domains above imply that the concept of insan kamil is very relevant with the goal of Islamic education, which equally wants to form human or learners who are smart, faithful and devoted. Al Qur'an menekankan pentingnya penggunaan akal pikiran, [Qs. 8:22 ]. T. M. Hasbi Ash Shiddiqy (1995: 508), dalam tafsirnya menjelaskan bahwa ayat di atas menunjukkan sejahat-jahatnya makhluk di sisi Allah SWT ialah orang yang tidak menggunakan pendengarannya untuk mendengar kebenaran lalu mengikutinya dan yang tidak mau memperhatikan pengajaran-pengajaran yang baik untuk diamalkannya. Selanjutnya, manusia memiliki kemauan yang bebas dalam menentukan pilihannya. Namun dengan pilihan tersebut manusia wajib mempertanggungjawabkannya kelak di akhirat pada hari perhitungan mengenai baik dan buruk perbuatan manusia di dunia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between socioeconomic status and consumption patterns of fishermen households in Karangsong Village, Indramayu Regency West Java Indonesia. The importance of this paper comes from the phenomenon of the lifestyle of the fishermen community who is known in general for their very harsh character. This is because their lifestyle is very dependent on nature. Even though in certain seasons fishermen's income will grow very high but in the following seasons, fishermen's income will decrease or even will be not existent. This is what causes fishermen are in the low level of social class. For this purpose, a survey was conducted to 81 fishermen during the month of August to September in 2019. Data was collected according to simple descriptive or multivariate statistical analyzes as well as qualitative techniques. The results of this study indicate that the income and number of family members influence the consumption patterns of fishermen households. It also can be concluded that there is a positive and significant impact between the independent variables (income, number of family members and education), on the consumption patterns of fishermen households. Contribution/ OriginalityThis study is one of few studies that have been investigated about the relationship between socioeconomic status and consumption patterns of fishing households. This study contributes to the first logical analysis that there is a positive and significant influence between the independent variables (income and number of family members) on the consumption patterns of fisherman households.
This study aims to explore the relations between the factors of the start-up environment and entrepreneurial intentions of students in universities in Vietnam and the Philippines by combining key elements of theory of reasoned action, theory of planned behaviour, theory of entrepreneurial events and model of entrepreneurial potential. Research findings were expected to test the appropriateness of this proposed model in the context of Vietnam and the Philippines. A bilateral survey was carried out among 819 students at five universities in Vietnam and the Philippines and the Structural Equation Modelling was applied to estimate the determinants of the students’ entrepreneurial intentions. The findings indicated that subjective norms, entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial desirability, and entrepreneurial motivation were positively related to perceived feasibility. Entrepreneurial education was the key determinant of entrepreneurial intention. Barriers for startups demonstrated a negative effect on the perceived feasibility. The key role of entrepreneurial education to entrepreneurial intention was confirmed in both countries. However, there are existing challenges in entrepreneurial education which required more respective supports from governments to promote the enterprise development.
Teachers have a very strategic role in advancing national education. Therefore, teachers work with a good work ethic. This study aims to analyze how the work ethic of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Mishbah Cipadung during the COVID-19 pandemic in learning through academic supervision activities. This research is a collaborative school action research conducted to improve and improve the quality of teachers in terms of learning work ethic, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the pre-action research showed an average score of 64.42, while in the first cycle the average score was 77.7, while in the second cycle the average score was 85.86. This means that there is a significant difference between the work ethic of teachers before and after academic supervision is carried out.
