Given the importance of globalization and the need to train students' thinking skills and broad knowledge to prepare them to face the demands of the 21st century work, education from the start needs to look more critically at educational practices and learning methods that should be directed. This study seeks to examine the effect of applying the guided inquiry model with the Self Regulated Learning approach to students' creative dispositions and creative thinking skills in high school biology learning. To achieve this goal, a sample of 70 students at one of the State Senior High Schools in Mataram, NTB. Subjects were purposively grouped into the experimental class, namely learning using the Guided Inquiry Model with the Self Regulated Learning (IT-SRL) Approach and the control class using the Ordinary Guided Inquiry (IT) model. Data on students' creative dispositions were obtained from a creative disposition questionnaire while data on students' creative thinking skills were obtained from tests of creative thinking skills which were compiled based on indicators of creative thinking skills. Hypothesis testing in this study uses. The results of the ANCOVA test showed that students who were taught using the guided inquiry model using the self-regulated learning (IT-SRL) approach had better creative dispositions and creative thinking skills than students who were taught using the inquiry method (IT).
This study aims to reveal the effect of using the Augmented Reality (VAR) Virus Application in arousing the creative dispositions and creative thinking skills of high school students. The research was conducted on 118 class X students at a public high school in Mataram in biology lessons on viruses. The research was conducted using an experimental method pretest and posttest control group design. The experimental class group of students got learning by using the VAR application and the control group using the power point application (ppt). Both classes received pretest and posttest by filling out creative disposition questionnaires and tests of creative thinking skills before and after the intervention. Research data in the form of quantitative data, both creative disposition and creative thinking skills, were tested and analyzed using the N-gain test and difference test. The results of the study revealed that the VAR application aroused students' creative dispositions in the medium category (N-gain 0.41) for the experimental class (VAR application) and in the low category (N-gain 0.23) for the control class (ppt application), both statistically significantly different. The creative thinking skills of VAR class students increased in the moderate improvement category (N-gain 0.32) and in the low category ppt class (N-gain 0.09), both of which also showed significant differences. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the VAR application has the potential to be used as a learning aid for Virus material and is recommended to be suitable for stimulating the growth of creative thinking skills
Currently and in the future, tourism is expected to make the biggest contribution to increasing the country's foreign exchange in the government's efforts to realize people's welfare and prosperity. One form of tourism product as a derivative of the concept of sustainable tourism development is the concept of ecotourism development. This study aims to map the research that has been carried out related to ecotourism in Indonesia. Data were obtained from scientific papers published on Google Scholar from 2010-2022 and there were 985 published scientific papers consisting of 968 from journals, 16 from proceedings, and 11 from books. Bibliometric analysis was carried out using the Vos Viewer application. The results of the study show that Indonesia has many tourist areas that can be developed into ecotourism areas, and these can be used as objects of research on ecotourism, but during the last 10 years research has only been conducted in a few areas. In addition, research on the same thing is often carried out in different research locations. This is the weakness of research on ecotourism in Indonesia. Thus, it is concluded that there are still many areas and keywords that are different and related to the concept of ecotourism which can be used as research subjects in Indonesia. research on the same thing is often done with different research locations. This study aims to evaluate the sunscreen activity of nyamplung seed extract resulting from cold press extraction, soxletation with n-hexane solvent, and maceration with alcohol solvent. Apart from that, determining the minimum concentration of using nyamplung seed extract as a sunscreen ingredient. This study was conducted in vitro using UV spectrophotometry with the method developed by Sayre et al., (1979). The results showed that the alcohol extract of nyamplung seeds had the best sunscreen activity with an SPF of 42,499 at a concentration of 1,000 ppm in chloroform:alcohol (1:1) in the ultra protection category. Followed by n-hexane extract and cold pressed extract with SPF 39,951 and 36,349 respectively with the same concentration, solvent, and category. The higher the sample concentration, the lower the percentage of erythema and pigmentation, while the higher the SPF. The lowest concentrations of cold pressed extract, n-hexane, and nyamplung seed alcohol that meet the category of sunscreen with ultra protection were 600, 600, and 400 ppm, respectively.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
