The application of sharia principles in business activities and services adds to standard compliance and some of them are trapped in the legalistic formality aspect rather than improving business ethics. In hospitals, which main business is providing health services, applying sharia principles may enhance the added value in health services or just a formal aspect. The purpose of this study seeks to reveal the community's response to the application of sharia standards in hospitals. The study used a quantitative research method, through the distribution of questionnaires to 50 patients and their families in three regional public hospitals; Zainoel Abidin Hospital Aceh, Sultan Agung Hospital Semarang, and Bandung Islamic Hospital, and interviews with the management and sharia supervisory board of the hospital. This study describes descriptively, with a Likert scale approach, to see the response toward the application of sharia standards. The results show that the majority of respondents gave a positive response to the application of sharia standards. Sharia standards are added value services in sharia hospitals. The results of this study is implicated in the management of sharia compliance in hospitals and the need for regulatory support for the implementation of sharia in hospitals.
This article presents the result of the study on understanding the Leader Motivating Language in daily internal communication in the work environment of Indonesian National Library. It uses MLT as a model and framework. The methodology is conducting deep interviews of senior staffs in the organization that have significant roles in the organization strategic vision goals. Result shows that MLT's used by the leader in birocratic organization confine the interaction using MLT of leader for all staffs. The use of MLT language in this organization tend to direction giving language, followed by empathetic language and meaning making language. The study suggest of develop MLT competence for leader especially in meaning making language to increase the organization vision of escalating the reading habit in Indonesia.Keyword: Motivation language theory, Leadership, Internal organization communication AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan hasil dari penelitian mengenai Bahasa Motivasi Pemimpin dalam komunikasi internal sehari-hari di lingkungan di Perpustakaan Nasional. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam pada staf senior yang memiliki peran penting dalam lembaga tersebut terutama terkait pencapaian visi strategis. Pengamatan dan data sekunder juga dimanfaatkan untuk memperkaya data. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa bahasa motivasi digunakan pimpinan dalam organisasi birokratik ini untuk berinteraksi dengan karyawan internal. Bahasa motivasi cenderung digunakan pimpinan untuk memberikan panduan terhadap pekerjaan, dilanjutkan dengan bahasa empati dan bahasa pemaknaan. In terms of writing technique, very few raises Gatra personal opinion journalist di redly. Sabili magazine, generally showing harsh criticism on liberal Islam. Sabili, for example, put a liberal Islam as a cult and misleading, a nosy group, or judged as a community that can destroy the faith.
This research aims to analyze the effect of digital media on Indonesia's evolving religious authority. A qualitative approach with a description-analysis framework was used by researchers based on a literature review as a data source. Therefore, this study explains how information development in the new media era can alter social, political, economic, and religious authority, including how fatwa is often transmitted by those who do not have integrity and profound scientific capacity. The results of this study assert that, in addition to providing easy access to information, the changes in the era of new media also raise concern that someone with the profound scientific ability no longer transmits fatwa. They are known as the 'new Ustaz,' a term that refers to a character who suddenly becomes a cleric without going through a series of old intellectual contemplation and education. It may potentially affect religious confusion, which creates uproar and friction in society.
