This study aims to develop an Android-based Indonesian dictionary for the blind. This study was developed using the Borg & Gall development model with some adjustments to the needs of this study. The stages of product development are (1) preliminary studies, (2) planning, (3) product development, (4) product validation, (5) first phase revision, (6) trials, (7) second phase revision, and (8) dissemination. The product developed is an android-based dictionary application with voice input and output. This developed product has been validated and tested on a small scale. Validation is carried out for material expert validators, media experts, and practitioners; while small-scale trials were conducted on 5 people with visual impairments. The results of product validation and trial show that the product developed is feasible to be implemented with an average percentage rating of 91.93%. The product developed provides benefits to the blind, which makes it easier to understand the meaning of words in the dictionary and increases the independence of the blind.

Indonesia still has a low level in literacy. It is proved based on the statistical calculations stated that Indonesia is ranked in 60 of 61 countries. It is inversely proportional compared to the percentage of people who aware of the letters from year to year which is increased. In Indonesia, the majority of children from 6-12 years old already have a reading skill. Yet, it is still not used well because the children's reading books are not being produced. It also makes children tend to read a book which is not suitable for their age and lead to change their mindsets. Comic is one of the literature works which is considered to have a different type from other literary works. It is presenting picture that illustrates the story line as their characteristic. Therefore, an illustrative comic book can help the development of the imagination, it can provide a model that can be used to develop children's personality. Today, many comics contain the negatives sides that does not appropriate for children, meanwhile comic books should be a facilitators to increase reading interest of children. Thus, there is the concept to develop a proverb comic for children. The main reason of choosing a proverb as the media in comic's storyline is because every proverbs have a an implicit mesage that is being delivered to the reader and using a comic as the way to help children in understanding a proverbs.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> <em>Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk</em> is Ahmad Tohari's novel which describes the life of <em>ronggeng</em> dancers and their socio-cultural environment in a village in Banyumas, Central Java. This novel is widely used as a medium for learning literature in schools because it is rich in depictions of local culture. This makes the novel <em>Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk</em> considered necessary to explore its educational tourism potential. This article aims to explore the potential for educational tourism of <em>Ronggeng</em> dance and wayang kulit in the novel <em>Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk</em>. The educational potential that is explored is divided into performance tourism objects, heritage attractions, and activity attractions. Using a mimetic approach and tourism literature, this research is qualitative research.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em><em>Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk</em> merupakan novel Ahmad Tohari yang menggambarkan kehidupan penari <em>ronggeng</em> dan lingkungan sosial-budayanya di suatu Desa di Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Novel ini banyak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran sastra di sekolah karena di dalamnya kaya akan penggambaran budaya lokal. Hal tersebut menjadikan novel <em>Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk</em> dianggap perlu untuk dieksplorasi potensi wisata edukasinya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi wisata edukasi tari <em>ronggeng</em> dan wayang kulit dalam novel <em>Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk</em>. Potensi edukasi yang dikesplorasi terbagi atas objek wisata pertunjukan, objek wisata <em>heritage</em>, dan objek wisata kegiatan. Menggunakan pendekatan mimetik dan sastra pariwisata, penelitian ini termasuk pada penelitian kualitatif.
