This study examines the influence Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Non Performing Loan (NPL) toward Profitability for Non-Foreign Exchange Commercial Bank in Indonesia. This study uses empirical data on the directory of Financial Services Authority (Otorita Jasa Keuangan) through non probability sampling that met criteria of the research. There are 17 Banks observed for 3 years quarterly starting from 2014 until 2016. The analytical method using Multiple Linear Regression. The results show that Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has unsignificant effect on profitability. Variable Net Interest Margin (NIM) has a positive and significant influence toward profitability. Variable Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has unsignificant effect toward profitability, Non Performing Loan (NPL) has unsignificant effect toward profitability. This study has implication for the banking sector, although banks applied financial ratios to measure bank health, but banks should also pay attention for external factors to measure bank health. The limitation of this research is that the data only consist of one type of commercial bank that is non-foreign exchange bank in Indonesia, not all banks met the criteria as expected by the researcher. Penelitian ini menggunakan data empiris dari direktori Kantor Otorita Jasa Keuangan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Ada 17 Bank yang diamati selama 3 tahun secara kuartal mulai tahun 2014 sampai tahun 2016. Peralatan analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas Bank Umum Non Devisa. Variable Net Interest Margin (NIM) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas Bank Umum Non Devisa. Variable Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas Bank Umum Non Devisa. Variabel NonPerforming Loan (NPL) tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas Bank Umum Non Devisa. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi pada dunia perbankan yaitu meskipun perbankan menerapkan rasio keuangan untuk mengukur kesehatan bank melalui profitabilitas, akan tetapi perbankan juga seharusnya memperhatikan faktor eksternal dalam mengukur kesehatan bank. Keterbatasan penelitian adalah bahwa data yang diteliti hanya terdiri dari satu jenis bank umum yaitu bank non devisa di Indonesia, tidak semua bank memenuhi criteria seperti yang diharapkan oleh peneliti.
Abstrak: Tulisan ini berisi tawaran model pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Wajib Umum Bahasa Indonesia di perguruan tinggi. Tawaran ini muncul sebagai jawaban atas kompleksitas persoalan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran ini merupakan jalan tengah atau kombinasi antara model pembelajaran konvensional dan model pembelajaran terbaru berdasarkan buku MKWU Bahasa Indonesia yang dikeluarkan oleh Dirjen Belmawa Ristekdikti tahun 2016. Data yang membangun tulisan ini didapat dengan melakukan observasi terhadap kegiatan perkuliahan, wawancara dengan dosen terkait, dan catatan diskusi antarpengampu Mata Kuliah Wajib Umum Bahasa Indonesia. Pada akhirnya, tawaran model pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Umum Bahasa Indonesia dapat dirumuskan.Abstract: This paper contains a model for learning Bahasa Indonesia as a Compulsory General Subject in higher education. This offer is emerged as an answer to the complexity of the problems faced in the instructions. This learning model is a combination of conventional learning models and the latest learning models based on the book of MKWU Bahasa Indonedia issued by Dirjen Belmawa Ristekdikti in 2016.
Translation is an activity to interpret a text from one language to another language without changing the content of the translated text. The objectives this research is: (1) to find out the accuracy of Google Translate in translating Procedural Text and Narrative Text and (2) to investigate which of the two text is translated more accurately comparing to the other text. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. There was one text for each text type, that is procedure text entitled “How to Make Special Fried Sandwich” wad divided into 31 sentences, and narrative text entitled “Surabaya” was divided into 20 sentences. The data using the accuracy rating assessment which consist of three categories that is accurate, less accurate, and not accurate. The researcher took three raters in evaluating the output of Google Translate. The result shows that the accuracy of Google translate in translating procedure text is accurate with average value of 79.57%, less accurate is 24.19%, and not accurate is 12.9%. And narrative text is accurate with average value of 86%, less accurate is 12.5%, and not accurate is 1.5%. It can be concluded that Google translate is more accurate in translating narrative text with 86%, whereas the procedure text is 79.57%.
Materi pembelajaran dengan tema gejala alam menjadi problem guru karena materi yang disampaikan bersifat abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran sentra, serta menghasilkan media video pembelajaran yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan (RD). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara dan kuesioner. Prosedur pengembangan ini mengacu pada pengembangan model ADDIE. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa uji validitas oleh 3 orang expert dikategorikan sangat valid, uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh 1 orang guru dikategorikan sangat praktis, sedangkan efektifitas dilakukan oleh 7 orang anak dengan kategori efektif dan 2 orang anak dengan kategori tidak efektif. Media video pembelajaran dapat dijadikan sebagai bentuk alternatif bagi guru dalam penggunaan media belajar. Media video pembelajaran dapat mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi. Selain itu, media video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan didesain secara menarik dan menyenangkan supaya anak mudah mengingat materi pembelajaran
Learning English to EFL learners must always be challenging since it requires not only the willingness for learning, but also students' awareness of the phonological differences between the students' mother tongue on one hand and English as the target language on the other. One of the potential problems is phonology. This study aims at describing the students' phonological problems in pronouncing English segmental sounds. There are 10 students' each of local language speakers taken as the sample in this study. Data is gained by using phonological test. In the test, the sample were asked to pronounce English words of which the sounds do not exist in each local language phonology. The result reveals that, there two English sounds found to be a problem encountered by Sasak students, both of which are consonants. The sounds
