The MBKM student exchange program is conducted in the Department of Educational Management, FIP, State University of Surabaya. The program is implemented online considering the pandemic is still ongoing. This research has a high urgency because it is important to know how the management of MBKM student exchanges during the Covid-19 pandemic, considering that so far student exchanges have been carried out directly or faceto-face before the Covid-19 pandemic. A qualitative approach with the case study method was used in this research. The results showed that student exchange management started from planning, organizing, implementing, to evaluating. The four steps are summarized in seven activities in the management of MBKM student exchange during the pandemic in the Department of Education Management, FIP Unesa, namely: (1) planning; (2) socialization;(3) recruitment; (4) student orientation; (5) student placement; (6) student development; and (7) recording and reporting. This study can be used as recommendations for the implementation of online student exchanges by other universities because it shows the process starting from program planning, organizing, implementing, to evaluation.
This research aims to reveal the management of KKN conducted by the KKN Center of State University of Surabaya during the covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted using qualitative approach with the type of research used is a case study. Data retrieval is conducted through interviews, observations, and document studies. This research shows that KKN activities conducted are regional-based KKN activities with 1) student kkn and DPL regional placement planning tailored to the student's residential area when KKN is conducted, as well as KKN activities directed to help the community in preventing the spread of Covid-19 and solving problems that occurred during the Covid-19 Pandemic; 2) KKN activities are carried out with attention to health protocols, by implementing 5 forms of programs; and 3) evaluation of KKN activities is conducted through monitoring and evaluation with kkn center to determine the follow-up of KKN in the future. The entire management process of regional-based KKN is carried out by implementing health protocols.
Total Quality Management (TQM) in distance education in higher education is rarely developed to improve quality continuously. There are 6 dimensions in TQM, namely leadership, management education, human resource management, information management, customer-centered and satisfaction, and the development of cooperation. College leaders need to create values and goals, and realize objectives through strategies and leadership styles that are suitable to realize the commitment of organizational members..
Tracer Study is a study that can provide helpful information to evaluate higher education results and can then be used to improve and guarantee the quality of higher education institutions. This research uses a quantitative research approach with the type of survey research. The research population is graduates of the Educational Management Department who graduated in 2019 and 2020. The sample used is saturated sampling, where the entire population is a member of the sample. The study results were analyzed using descriptive statistics and extracted information about graduates, including the number of graduates. It includes who graduated, graduates employment status, waiting time for graduates, coverage of where graduates work, and other descriptions are required by Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (i.e., BAN-PT). BAN-PT is an accreditation organization in Indonesia, where accreditation and input for curriculum development of Educational Management Department. The result showed that Educational Management graduates could be survived as employees or entrepreneurs that focus on Educational Management scope.
This study seeks to explore the role of the leadership of the college in cultivating research using a qualitative approach. The data collection methods used are interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis used is data condensation, data display, and data verification, while the validity test of the data used is the triangulation of source and engineering, and the member check. Results of this study showed that the role of the university leader in the study of research can be done by providing fund support, spreading research information, giving motivation, appropriate policy retrieval related With lecturer research activities, establishing cooperation, facilitating the civitas in research, and through a humanistic approach. The role was implemented so that the lecturers especially the lecturer could familiarize themselves with the research culture.
