Tracer Study is a study that can provide helpful information to evaluate higher education results and can then be used to improve and guarantee the quality of higher education institutions. This research uses a quantitative research approach with the type of survey research. The research population is graduates of the Educational Management Department who graduated in 2019 and 2020. The sample used is saturated sampling, where the entire population is a member of the sample. The study results were analyzed using descriptive statistics and extracted information about graduates, including the number of graduates. It includes who graduated, graduates employment status, waiting time for graduates, coverage of where graduates work, and other descriptions are required by Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (i.e., BAN-PT). BAN-PT is an accreditation organization in Indonesia, where accreditation and input for curriculum development of Educational Management Department. The result showed that Educational Management graduates could be survived as employees or entrepreneurs that focus on Educational Management scope.
This study seeks to explore the role of the leadership of the college in cultivating research using a qualitative approach. The data collection methods used are interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis used is data condensation, data display, and data verification, while the validity test of the data used is the triangulation of source and engineering, and the member check. Results of this study showed that the role of the university leader in the study of research can be done by providing fund support, spreading research information, giving motivation, appropriate policy retrieval related With lecturer research activities, establishing cooperation, facilitating the civitas in research, and through a humanistic approach. The role was implemented so that the lecturers especially the lecturer could familiarize themselves with the research culture. The vital roles of school principals and the need for a professional selection and preparation process for school principals have encouraged the necessity of studying the process of preparing school principals in Indonesia. In developed countries, the main candidates are judged not only on their traditional management skills but also on their professional leadership skills. Principals are responsible for improving the quality of the schools they lead, so in developed countries, that becomes the main focus of assessment. In Indonesia, the policy for the preparation and selection process of school principals must be reviewed in a goal-oriented manner for the sake of improving education quality. This research aimed to providing recommendations for improving the selection process of principals in Indonesia through a comparative analysis. Method in this research using literature review. This literature review collected data or sources related to a particular topic derived from various sources, such as journals, books, the internet, and other libraries. The results of the discussion indicated that there were similarities and differences in the selection processes for principals in Indonesia and the comparative countries in this study. Since the rules for selecting school principals in Indonesia often change, school principal candidates must always adapt to new regulations.
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum teaching pada materi koordinat kartesius kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sambas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan postest-only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sambas. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga terpilih kelas VIIIC sebagai eksperimen 1 yaitu menggunakan model pembelajaran quantum teaching berbantuan software geoegbra dan kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 yaitu menggunakan model pembelajaran quantum teaching tanpa berbantuan software geogebra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa setelah diberikan model pembelajaran quantum teaching berbantuan software geogebra lebih baik daripada hasil belajar siswa setelah diberikan model pembelajaran quantum teaching tanpa berbantuan software geoegbra yaitu rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen 1 75,83, termasuk dalam kategori baik sedangkan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen 2 69,48, termasuk dalam kategori cukup.
