This study examines the influence of leadership styles on academic job satisfaction in higher education institutions in Ethiopia. The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire and Job Satisfaction Survey were used to identify the prevailing leadership styles as perceived by employees and to review their satisfaction with the institutions, respectively. The researchers used a cross-sectional survey of academic staff working in selected public universities. A logistic regression analysis was used to assess the relationship between the independent (leadership styles/behaviors) and the dependent (employees’ job satisfaction) variables. The findings suggested that transformational leadership influenced positively faculty job satisfaction. The outcome of the research will generate greater awareness on the importance of having leaders whose behaviors/styles increase faculty job satisfaction and ensure organizational effectiveness.

The objective of this study is to examine determinants of tourist satisfaction in Amhara region in order to identify the significant factors which contribute more to tourists' satisfaction and to come up with possible policy recommendations. Quantitative research approach with explanatory research design was employed. The constructs used in the research were formulated based on the extant literature review which includes destination image, expectation, perceived quality, and perceived value and the dependent construct being tourists' satisfaction. Purposive sampling technique was applied and a total of 200 qualified questionnaires were used for the data analysis. Structural equation modeling using AMOS 22 was employed for data analysis. Based on the result, destination image is found to be the most important predictor and cause of tourists' satisfaction through its total effect on the other constructs. Hence recommendation was made to focus on destination image while formulating and implementing tourism policy and strategy.
The self-association of amoxicillin (AMX) and its hetero-association with biologically active compound, chlorogenic acid (CGA) were investigated at room temperature (295°K). The dimerization constant of amoxicillin and thiamine (THIA) analyzed using the dimer model at the wavelength of 278 and 256 nm were found to be 1 3 10 2. 3 438. 5 M and 1 2 10 991. 8 M , respectively. The hetero-association constant of amoxicillin and chlorogenic acid analyzed using Benesi-Hildebrand approach were 1 3 10 18. 1 M. Thermodynamic parameters such as Gibbs free energy, enthalpy and entropy of dimerization reactions for the self-association and hetero-association of the compounds were also investigated using Vant's Hoff equation at the temperature ranges (295 to 305°K). The change of enthalpy calculated for amoxicillin, thiamine and the complexes of amoxicillin-chlorogenic acid are 34.73±2.17, 54.1±4.585, and 6.988±0.493 1. mol kJ at the temperature of 305°K, respectively. The values of change in enthalpy and entropy indicate that the hydrophobic interaction play the major role in the interaction between the molecules.
