The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in learning motivation and physics learning outcomes between male and female students of class X. This research is a comparative causal research which is an ex post facto research. The population of this research is all of the tenth grade high school students in Nangapanda District as many as 220 students. The sample was determined by proportional random sampling, amounting to 80 students. Data collected in this study are students' learning motivation obtained through the provision of a learning motivation questionnaire and physics learning achievement obtained through physics learning achievement tests in the form of multiple choice questions. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and ANAVA. As a follow-up to ANAVA, a Least Significant Difference (LSD) was used to test the comparison of the pairs of average scores for each gender group. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in learning motivation (F = 62,139; p <0.05) and physics learning achievement (F = 11,377; p <0.05) which are significant between female and male students. Independent study is necessary for students, particularly when they are studying online. Due to the minimal contact between lecturers and students in online learning, particularly in science, students must study independently. The significance of individual learning during the CoVD-09 epidemic provides the context for this study. This research intends to identify the profile of junior high school students' independence in scientific learning throughout the academic year 2021-2022. This research is descriptive. This study's population consisted of 116 pupils enrolled in the eighth grade of junior high school. The sample for this research consisted of 37 eighth-grade SMP students selected using a simple random selection procedure. Furthermore, the data gathering approach employed a non-test technique, namely a questionnaire. The analysis of data was conducted using descriptive statistics. The findings indicated that the general average of pupils' freedom in learning was classified as very independent (81%). In addition, 14 students are in the very independent category, which is equal to (40%), 12 students are in the independent category, which is equal to (34%), and seven students are in the fairly independent category, which is equal to (20%), four students are in the less independent category that is equal to (12.9%), and no one is categorized as very less independent than 37 students. This shows that most class VIII students are very independent in their learning.
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan (1) menganalisis kontribusi pengetahuan awal terhadap miskonsepsi siswa dalam pelajaran fisika, (2) menganalisis kontribusi motivasi belajar terhadap miskonsepsi siswa dalam pelajaran fisika, dan (3) menganalisis kontribusi pengetahuan awal dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa dalam pelajaran fisika. Penelitian korelasional adalah jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam riset ini. Total 222 siswa SMA kelas X pada semester genap tahun 2019/2020 di Kecamatan Nangapanda adalah populasi pada penelitian ini. Total 85 sampel siswa dipilih secara teknik acak proposional (Propotional random sampling). Data riset dikumpulkan melalui tes pemahaman konsep fisika untuk mengkalkulasikan pengetahuan awal dan miskonsepsi, dan motivasi belajar dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner motivasi belajar. Data yang dianalisis regersi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan awal, motivasi dan miskonsepsi fisika siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat kontribusi pengetahuan awal terhadap miskonsepsi sebesar 54.6% (p<0.05), (2) terdapat kontribusi motivasi belajar terhadap miskonsepsi sebesar 58.7% (p< 0.05), dan (3) terdapat kontribusi pengetahuan awal dan motivasi belajar terhadap miskonsepsi sebesar 68.5% (p<0.05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat kontribusi pengetahuan awal dan motivasi terhadap miskonsepsi siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika. Correlational research is the type of research conducted in this research. A total of 222 class X high school students in the even semester of 2019/2020 in Nangapanda District are the population in this study. A total of 85 students were selected as the sample by using the proportional random sampling technique. Research data were collected through a physics concept understanding test to calculate prior knowledge and misconceptions, and learning motivation was collected through a learning motivation questionnaire. The data analyzed by regression in this study were students' prior knowledge, motivation, and physics misconceptions. The results showed (1) there was a 54.6% contribution of prior knowledge to misconceptions (p<0.05), (2) there was a 58.7% contribution of learning motivation to misconceptions (p<0.05), and (3) there was a contribution of prior knowledge and learning motivation. against misconceptions by 68.5% (p<0.05). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan aktivitas perkulihan mahasiswa selama diberlakukan perkuliahan secara online (2) Mendeskripsikan kasulitan yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan perkuliahan secara online,(3) upaya yang dilakukan Program Studi dalam mengatasi kesulitan/kendal mahasiswa mengikuti perkuliahan secara online. Metode penelitian yang dipakai menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumppulan data menggunakaan teknik wawancara terbuka terhadap ketua program studi dan 7 orang dosen pengasuh matakuliah serta penyebaran angket melalui via WhatsApp terhadap 25 orang mahasiswa semester 6 program studi pendiikan fisika. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukan(1) Aktivitas belajar daring mahasiswa pada masa pandemik Covid-19 berjalan“cukup baik” dengan mamanfaatkan aplikasi Zoom Cloud Meeting, Google Classroom, Youtube, dan WhatsApp, (2) kesulitan yang menghambat aktivitas belajar seperti ketersediaan kuota internet tidak memadai, data cepat habis dan jaringan internet hilang muncul. (3) Kemudian masalah tersebut dapat diatasi oleh program studi, dosen maupun mahasiswa itu sendiri. Misalnya penyediaan data internet dari universitas, mengurangi penggunaan aplikasi yang penggunaan datanya terlalu besar, pemberian tugas secara mendiri
