Islamic education goes into future options, and became a reference in developing the potential of learners and the embryo of world civilization; the progress of Islamic civilization was born of Islamic education quality. Therefore, islamic religious education should be managed professionally, based saintek and quality. Islamic educational system urgently reformulated in accordance with the dynamics of the times, the needs of the market, and based on local wisdom, thus bringing forth a superficial scientists clerics and scholars scientist. Methodology used in this research is qualitative research, this research works in Parepare city, with sample of excellent school and Pesantren Al- Badar. The result of study is the integration of the educational system, good educational system and system seed boarding school education, relevant done as an attempt to find the ideal model of islamic education and real in the era of globalization.
The management of education is too much in giving to the thinking of learners has been created human with split personality. Graduates today tend to be secular, materialistic, rationalistic, hedonistic, and mentally less developed and lacking in emotional intelligence. Based on this, character education is very appropriate to be launched in all lines and levels of education. This study aims to provide character education management formulation at State Senior High School in Parepare City, to provide solutions of urgent religiosity values will be formed on the learners, to apply character education management model that is relevant to the establishment of religious values of State Senior High School students. This research was done using qualitative research type with case study as research design. The locale of the study was conducted at State Senior High in Parepare City, South Sulawesi Province during March 2018 to May 2018. The data in this study is divided into two, namely primary data and secondary data. The data source in this study consists of the main data source in the form of words and actions, as well as additional data sources in the form of documents. Character education is one way to form a person to internalize good moral quality in the family, school, and community.
This study aimed to develop socio-cultural-based LKPD teaching materials in understanding short story material to improve HOTS for class XI SMA. The research method used 4-D Research and Development by Thiagarajan that consists of four stages, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. This study is limited to the development stage, due to the current pandemic situation so it cannot be carried out for the dissemination stage. Data was collected using research instrument techniques to assess the validity of the products that have been developed, in the form of a validation questionnaire to be assessed by material experts in the form of content, construction, language aspects and design experts in the form of writing display aspects, image display, LKPD functions, and LKPD benefits. The assessment of the material aspect got an overall score of 90% with the "Very Good" criteria, means that the product is feasible and valid to be tested in small groups and large groups, thus the material can be a prototype of socio-cultural based short story worksheets. The design aspect assessment gave an assessment of 98.5% with the criteria of "Very Good", means that the product is feasible and valid to be tested by small groups and large groups, so from the design aspect it can become a prototype of socio-cultural-based short story worksheets. Thus, the overall socio-cultural-based short story LKPD is categorized as very good.
Abstract-This research is a class action (classroom action research), which aims to increase students' interest in learning mathematic through learning model of Experiential Learning.The subjects of the research are the students of IX class at SMP Negeri 13 Parepare of 17 students, it consists of 9 male students and 8 female students. The research consists of four stages in implementation including planning (planning), action (action), observations (observation) and reflection (reflection). The research instruments are observation sheet and questionnaire of interest in learning mathematic. The collecting data through observation techniques and questionnaires is analyzed through descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this research that can be concluded that the interest in learning mathematic through learning model of experiential learning of students in IX class at SMPN 13 Parepare increased. This shows by: (1) the improvement of average value of student interest in the amount of 3.74 or 75% in the first cycle to be 4.18 or 84% in the second cycle.
