Jamur memiliki peran yang vital dalam proses ekologi, merupakan salah satu indikator kesehatan suatu ekosistem, memiliki potensi obat dan pangan serta berbagai potensi yang belum tergali. Arboretum memiliki potensi yang tinggi untuk konservasi hayati termasuk jenis jamur, sehingga informasi keragaman dan potensi sangat penting untuk dasar pengelolaannya. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui keragaman jenis dan potensi jamur makroskopis yang ada di Arboretum BP2LHK Manado. Penelitian dilakukan selama 8 kali pengamatan di bulan Mei, Juni, dan September 2016 menggunakan cruise method dan opportunistic approach untuk mengumpulkan tubuh buah jamur sebanyak mungkin. Pengumpulan data media tumbuh, intensitas cahaya, suhu tempat tumbuh digunakan sebagai pendukung. Hasil penelitian mununjukkan bahwa aboretum ini menyimpan 48 jenis jamur makroskopis dengan karakteristik yang berbeda, 39 jenis telah diketahui nama ilmiahnya, terbagi menjadi 2 divisio, 6 kelas, 9 ordo, dan 17 famili, 9 jenis lainnya belum diketahui nama ilmiahnya. Hasil ekplorasi menunjukkan bahwa keragaman habitat jenis jamur makroskopis didominasi oleh 31 jenis tumbuh pada kayu lapuk, 11 jenis tumbuh pada seresah, dan 6 jenis tumbuh pada tanah. Berdasarkan kajian potensi terbagi menjadi 2 jenis tidak dapat dikonsumsi karena beracun, 1 jenis berpotensi sebagai pangan dan obat, 2 jenis jamur pangan, 5 jenis berpotensi obat, 19 jenis tidak bisa dikonsumsi, dan 19 jenis belum diketahui manfaatnya. Anoa is an endemic species of Indonesia that is listed as endangered in the IUCN Redlist list and also included in the Appendix I CITES. Anoa’s reproduction have been constraint due to their natural behaviour. This animal is a solitary animal, monogamous, wild and aggressive, Incorrect mating time can lead the into a fight between the male and female. Information about the estrus cycle is very important in determining the optimal mating time for anoa. The study aim is to determine the estrus cycle of anoa based on behaviour and change in the vaginal epithelial cells. Behavioural data were observed by focal animal sampling technique to 3 female anoas in Anoa Breeding Center Manado during January-August 2017 at 07.00-17.00 CIT. Vaginal swabs cytology was done during July-August 2017 in the morning and afternoon by using terilized cotton swab and Giemsa stain. The vaginal swabs cytology techniques with Giemsa staining can be used to determine the changes in epithelial cells and confirm the estrus phase of anoa. Based on vaginal cytology the length of the estrus cycle of each individual anoa at the Anoa Breeding Center is different. At Manis the lengt of estrus cycle ranges 23 days, Rita 15 days, Denok 21 days and Ana is unidentified
Anoa is an endemic Sulawesi mammal and listed as Endangered in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. This conservation status represents the critical condition of declining population in the wild due to continuing habitat loss and poaching. This paper aims to review anoa conservation efforts both in-situ and ex-situ that have been conducted by the Government of Indonesia, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), private companies, and local communities in Sulawesi. A number of 16 papers were reviewed in order to gather some information regarding the conservation efforts in Sulawesi. Several protected areas were established to protect Sulawesi biodiversity, including anoa. Local communities within the park (e.g., Toro local people) contribute to this effort by having customary laws, not to hunting anoa. The government also ratified relevant policies and regulations to support anoa conservation. Anoa Breeding Center in North Sulawesi was started in 2010 to foster research and breeding program. The center has been working together with other local conservation NGOs, Nature Resources Conservation Agency, and private sectors through their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs to set up anoa sanctuaries. Also, to organize outreach activities to raise social awareness of this charismatic animal. Increasing the anoa population depends on the continuity of these concerted efforts and regional regulations should be created to improve anoa conservation programs.
The controlling planning of raw material needs in a company is very important to keep productivity on production activityand its influence on the material procurement cost. UD. Jaya Abadi Solution is one of the company that produces various fodder from the waste of animal feed manufacturing factory. The fluctuation often happens in raw material availability for production process especially “tumpi” raw materialwhich causes the production process is not optimal. The purpose of the research is to control “tumpi” raw material availability by using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and Period Order Quantity (POQ) methodand to know the different cost between the company calculation and EOQ and POQ methods caculations. The methods used in this research are Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and Period Order Quantity (POQ) method, these methods are expected to be able to cope the fluctuation of the “tumpi” raw material availability. Based on the result of the research using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and Period Order Quantity (POQ) method yielded is EOQ value of 220 tons with total cost of Rp. 113.165.509, while POQ value is 205 tons with the total cost of Rp. 113.285.546. The different cost produced is 19 % compared to the company total cost.
Peristiwa pandemi Covid-19 di dunia termasuk Indonesia, menyebabkan perubahan sistem pembelajaran yang signifikan, biasanya tatap muka di kelas, kegiatan praktek di laboratorium berubah menjadi pembelajaran dalam jaringan atau daring. Pembelajaran proyek menggunakan masalah sebagai langkah awal dalam mengumpulkan dan mengintegrasikan pengetahuan baru berdasarkan pengalamannya dalam beraktivitas secara nyata. Mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif IPA adalah mata kuliah wajib dalam fakultas ilmu pendidikan yang menuntut mahasiswa dalam keaktifan dan kreatifitas menguasai materi tersebut sehingga lebih aplikatif dimanfaatkan saat kelak menjadi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara observasi dan angket. Model Pembelajaran IPA SMP pada materi kimia mempunyai karakteristik pengetahuan yang abstrak bagi siswa SMP sehingga dibutuhkan keaktifan dan kreatifitas saat mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil angket didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut: persepsi mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif 76,8; motivasi mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif 78,40; pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif 87,6; aktifitas dan kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran proyek 88,7; Kesan mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran proyek adalah 84,6. Dari hasil rerata diatas 75,0 hal ini menunjukkan pembelajaran proyek efektif diterapkan pada mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif IPA materi kimia SMP.
