Research in data quality is important in participatory sensing area to provide integrity of the data contributed by participants in mHealth participatory campaign. Many factors can influence the integrity of data contribution. One of major concerns is the possibility of data truthfulness of being uncertain due to incompleteness, imprecision, vagueness, and fragmentary. In participatory sensing, the interpretation of data quality is rather loose and there is no established theoretical framework that represents the elements of data quality in mHealth participatory sensing system. Therefore, the objective of this paper is two-fold: First, to investigate the variables of data quality that suits participatory sensing system. Second to propose a theoretical framework of data quality in mHealth participatory sensing. The finding will serve a guideline of data quality in mhealth participatory sensing.
The direct (face-to-face) learning approach that is centered on the teacher in Data Base System lectures causes the learning process to be passive. Students' understanding is not optimal in certain competencies so that the final average of students does not reach the predetermined competency standards. This paper presents a learning model for Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) Database System with a combination of Tutorial and Drill and Practice models. The research uses the R & D (Research and Development) method with three main stages, namely conducting an initial study to find information about the learning model to be developed, developing a model based on the results of the problem study, and conducting field trials. The results of the pretest and posttest showed an increase in learning completeness by 72.41%, as evidenced by the significance test which experienced a significant increase. Pemahaman mahasiswa tidak maksimal pada bagian kompetensi tertentu sehingga rerata nilai akhir mahasiswa tidak mencapai standar kompetensi yang telah ditetapkan. Paper ini menyajikan model pembelajaran Sistem Basis Data berbantuan Komputer (Computer Assisted Instruction/ CAI) dengan kombinasi model Tutorial dan Drill and Practice. Penelitian menggunakan metode R & D (Research and Development) dengan Tiga tahapan utama, yaitu melakukan studi awal untuk mencari informasi mengenai model pembelajaran yang akan dikembangkan, mengembangkan model berdasarkan hasil kajian permasalahan, dan melakukan uji coba lapangan. Hasil uji pretest dan posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 72,41%, yang dibuktikan dengan uji signifikasi yang memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Instructional design plays an important role in improving the quality of learning and the learning experience of students. But in fact, many universities (especially in the field of Information Technology) have not developed a structured learning design, so that the learning process becomes ineffective. This paper presents a database system learning design model using the Borg and Gall step 1 development model and adapting all stages in the Dick and Carey model. The research consists of four main stages: conducting a preliminary study to find information about the learning product to be developed; develop products based on research findings; conduct field trials on the products developed; and revise products based on test results. The product quality of the developed learning design model is measured from aspects of validity and aspects of practicality. Validity is assessed through expert validation (database system learning material expert, instructional design expert, graphic media expert, and linguist). The measurement results obtained an average value of 5 (on a scale of 1-5), which means that the product of the learning design model developed is included in the valid category. Practicality is measured based on the responses of students and teachers. The results of the practicality measurement obtained an average value of 4.56 (on a scale of 1-5), which means that the product of the learning design model developed is included in the Practically used category
