This study aims to identify directive speech acts on online news titles. Research data are sentences in online news titles. Research data sources in the form of online news titles sourced from the news in CNN Indonesia, Liputan 6.com, Detiknews, Viva.co.id.news, TEMPO.CO, Kompas.com, Kumparan.News, and Republika.co.id. Data collection using documentation methods, see, and note technique. Analysis of research data using the intralingual and pragmatic matching methods. The validity of the data in this study uses the triangulation method. The results showed the directive speech acts in the online news titles included: (1) forcing as much as 3.2%; (2) request as much as 4%; (3) asking for 40%; (4) giving orders as much as 2.4%; (5) demanded 4.8%; (6) prohibiting 12.8%; (7) suggest 11.2%; (8) invite 16%; and (9) collect 5.6%. The directive speech act on the online news headline can be used as a learning medium in digital technology-based schools.
Guru Bahasa Indonesia SMP Muhammadiyah di Surakarta memiliki permasalahan dalam menentukan pilihan penggunaan buku teks Bahasa Indonesia. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2019 di SMP Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Peserta pengabdian adalah guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang berjumlah 12 orang. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu menurunkan teori Geeny dan Petty yang merupakan indikator kualitas buku teks ke dalam beberapa instrumen. Selanjutnya, guru berlatih mengisi instrumen sesuai dengan isi buku teks. Setelah itu, guru membuat tabulasi, dan langkah terakhir mengidentifikasi bagian buku teks yang masih lemah. Indikator telaah buku teks berdasarkan teori Geeny dan Petty terdiri dari: sudut pandang sesuai dengan keilmuan, memiliki kejelasan, konsep materi, relevan dengan kurikulum, menarik minat, menumbuhkan motivasi, menstimulasi aktivitas siswa, ilustratif, mudah dipahami pemakainya, menunjang pelajaran lain, menghargai perbedaan individu, dan memantabkan nilai. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah guru mengalami peningkatan kemampuan dalam memilih bahan ajar Materi ajar yang dipilih oleh guru lebih terarah, tajam, dan relevan dengan siswa.
Humor provides a positive side in the form of a more pleasant atmosphere and causes laughter This study aims to (1) describe humorous texts in Wattpad (2) use humorous texts as teaching materials for Indonesian language learning. The data used in this research is humor text in Wattpad. While the data sources used in this study are 8 (eight) Wattpads containing humorous texts. The data collection used in this research is the method of observing and recording. The data analysis technique related to this research uses the pragmatic equivalent and referential equivalent method with the determining element sorting technique. The validity of the data in the study used theoretical triangulation. The results of this study (1) types of humorous texts include social humor, romantic humor, family humor, and educational humor, and (2) Humor texts in Wattpad are used as teaching materials in learning Indonesian in SMA class X according to the 2013 Curriculum. That is, humor can liven up an exciting atmosphere, make it a means of entertainment, not tense and can help build good feelings between students and teachers.
