Happiness is one indicator that can represent the welfare of society. This study aims to find a model of happiness assessment that is more in line with the conditions of local people who are on the border, especially in Papua Sota District. The happiness index used by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) until 2017 using the 10 essential aspects of life reflects the level of happiness, where the results of 2014 and 2017, the variables of happiness index, HDI, per capita GRDP, and population density increase concurrent index. but viewed 10 aspects assessed by the author not in accordance with the conditions of local communities in Papua. The method used in this study is qualitative with appropriate literature studies. The results of this study indicate that there are other aspects or other indicators more important that reflect the level of happiness of the local community of Papua, especially the border area of Sota District.
Woman have strong links with the environmental. In his role as manager of the household, they are more interacting with the environmental and natural recousces.The efforts were made by Maklew’s Woman with cultivated an attitude of assistance and keep maintain their environmental. So the worked together in their culture like kayau in their countryside stil remained until now. But effort of Maklew’s woman to keep maintained the local wisdom “kayau” for environmental management, there has challenges. One of the interesting things to be examined is that of the management of the environment and resources. Maklew is the tribe with a practice of very strong patriarchy. The position of women in Maklew etnic is assumed as “second person”. Specifically in the culture ofetnic maklew, the position of women is considered very important. Women and the land are symbolized as the origin and the source of life, as the giver of life. The study of Maklw’s Womans Participation for environmental management use the feminism and ecofeminism theory and exchanged theory where there are several indicators related by Kayau as a local wisdom to environmental management. The indicators or prepositions are role of division, acces of control and decision making making with kayau perpective. This research was carried out in Wasur village, which is one of villages with the population of indigenous of Marind, located in Merauke, bordering Papua New Guinea. This research includes of qualitative and descriptive approach. Statistic collected is done by observation method, intervieuw using snowball sampling method. Data analysis in this research by descriptive analisys. As the result in the research showing that Maklew’s Woman in participation on environmental management in Wasue Village still strong and kept well. There was show from mutual cooperation from Maklew’s woman on environmental management with Kayau that still continues. All the people especially Maklew’s Woman still kept the local wisdom Kayau in their environmental management activity.
The purpose of this study is to find out the provision of motivation in persuasive communication in order to improve the performance of the employees of Bunda Pengharapan Hospital in Merauke Regency, In this study researcher interviewed 10 people as research informants. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative method while this study used three stages, namely data presentation, data reduction and conclusion. From the results of this study, the researchers found that there was a work motivation that the leader did to the employees of BundaPengharapan Hospital so that the results of the employee's performance were good enough to carry out work duties every day. However, in the motivational indicator, it isnecessary to maintain more support or appreciation for employee work performance so as to further encourage employees to further improve or maintain their work performance in the Hospital.
In an organization the oversight function is very much needed, with good supervision can prevent the occurrence of irregularities and ensure that the implementation of the organization's activities goes according to a predetermined plan. Supervision will provide greater benefits for an organization in dealing with deviations that have occurred, because if deviations can be prevented, then large losses can be avoided so that organizational goals will be achieved in an effective and efficient manner. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, which will describe how the supervisor function of the district head in the implementation of the Bangsaku program in Merauke Regency. The results of this study are that the Supervision Function of the District Head in the implementation of the My Community Program in the Village, has been running optimally this will have an impact on the implementation of development and the results of development that are less well felt by the community, any assistance of My Bangs funds can reach their hands, and they too involved in the implementation so that there is no suspicion or fraud faced by the villagers. The control function carried out by the district head, often descends directly into the field and participates in checking what is done by the community related to the use of my nation's funds and any funds received by community, from income, expenditure to the reporting process of the use of funds used by the community.
Pemberdayakat masyarakat secara ekonomi memiliki tujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah kreatifitasmasyarakat dalam mengeksplorasi hasil ekonomi menjadi lebih berproduktif, pemberdayaan dapatdilakukan melalau usaha kelompok. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis Program PemerintahDalam Penguatan Kelompok Usaha Tani Berbasiskan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Petani Padi. Metodeyang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan adalah dengan memberikan pendidikan kepada masyarakat tanipadi dengan berbasiskan pada kelompok usaha tani. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif,sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari studi pustaka dan studi lapangan melalui pengamatan,wawancara. Proses analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikankesimpulan. Hasil dilapangan menyebutkan bahwa sosialisasi dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahamankepada para kelompok tani di kampung kuprik tantang cara mengembangkan suatu program pertanian,kemudian Petugas PPL melakukan pengawasan lapangan kepada para kelompok usaha tani, denganmemberikan motivasi dan arahan terstruktur mengenai cara mendapatkan dan mengelola hasil panenyang berkualitas. Kemudian petugas PPL juga melakukan analisis masalah yang terjadi di lahan pertaniankampung kuprik, masalah yang di dapat mereka teruskan kepada pihak dinas pertanian untuk di carikansolusi dalam rangka terciptanya hasil panen yang berkualitas. Selanjutnya sarana pemasaran hasil panenpadi dari para petani tidak disediakan oleh pemerintah, Hasil panen dari masyarakat petani KampungKuprik dijual sendiri secara mandiri.
