This study aims to identify the factors inhibiting the management of productive waqf in Indonesia and the strategic priorities that can be offered with the Analytic Network Process (ANP) approach. Respondents consist of the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI), academics and practitioners who are involved in the world of productive waqf. The results of this study indicate that the problems that arise in the management of productive waqf in Indonesia consist of 4 important aspects, namely: 1) human resource problems; 2) information and technology issues; 3) sharia issues and 4) regulatory issues. The strategic priorities for developing productive waqf are 1) strengthening information systems and waqf technology; 2) aspects of strengthening governance (good Nazhir governance), 3) aspects of the formation of educational institutions, socialization and education of waqf, 4) aspects of regulatory support from the Government. The results of this study can complement the management of existing productive waqf, the application of strategic priorities can encourage better collection and distribution of productive waqf. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat pengelolaan wakaf produktif di Indonesia berikut prioritas strategi yang dapat ditawarkan dengan pendekatan Analytic Network Process (ANP). Responden terdiri dari Badan Wakaf Indonesia (BWI), akademisi dan praktisi yang berkecimpung dalam dunia wakaf produktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa permasalahan yang muncul dalam pengelolaan wakaf produktif diIndonesia terdiri dari 4 aspek penting yaitu : 1) masalah sumber daya manusia; 2) masalah informasi dan teknologi; 3) masalah syariah dan 4) masalah regulasi. Adapun prioritas strategi untuk mengembangkan wakaf produktif yaitu 1) penguatan sistem informasi dan teknologi wakaf; 2) aspek penguatan tata kelola (good nazhir governance), 3) aspek pembentukan lembaga pendidikan, sosialisasi dan edukasi wakaf, 4) aspek dukungan regulasi dari Pemerintah. Hasil penelitian ini dapat melengkapi pengelolaan wakaf produktif yang telah ada, penerapan prioritas strategi dapat mendorong pengumpulan dan distribusi wakaf produktif yang lebih baik.
Collection and distribution are two main activities in the zakat agency. The good management of zakat collection and its distribution makes zakat reach its main goal, that is muslim welfare. The research had the purpose of describing the managerial steps of zakat collection and its distribution taken by National Zakat Agency of regency/city in the province of West Sumatera in Indonesia. It uses qualitative research approach and case study method with non-structured interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The research results indicate that the management model of zakat collection and its distribution is by using steps of POSCAC which cover the application of planning (P), organizing (O), staffing (S), coordinating (C), actuating (A), and controlling (C). The principles of POSCAC has been applied by National Zakat Agencies of regency/city in the province of West Sumatera, Indonesia, in zakat collection and its distribution.
The covid-19 pandemic has dropped the economy of the world. Islamic banks as part of the economy are also affected by this pandemic. The study aims to provide an overview of the performance of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in Indonesia before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The measurement of financial performance will use several financial ratios, namely ROA, CAR, NPF, FDR, BOPO, and NOM. The research sample is all BUS in Indonesia. The years 2018 and 2019 will be used as the period before the Covid-19 pandemic, while 2020 and 2021 will be used as the period during the Covid-19 pandemic. It uses a quantitative method with measurement tools: independent sample t-test and multiple linear regression. The results of the independent sample t-test are the CAR, FDR, and BOPO variables have differences in the period before the pandemic and during the pandemic. While the ROA, NPF, and NOM variables have no difference in the period before and during the pandemic. From the partial multiple linear regression test (t-test), financial ratios in the form of BOPO and NOM influence ROA. While the variables CAR, FDR, and NPF do not affect ROA. On the other hand, simultaneously the variables CAR, NPF, FDR, BOPO, and NOM affect ROA. The research results from this article can be used as a source of information by stakeholders in making policies for a better BUS future.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa kinerja perbankan syariáh dengan maksud menemukan perbedaan dan perbandingan kinerja keuangan perbankan syariah setelah dan sebelum go public dengan menggunakan metode RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, dan Capital). Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel laporan rasio kinerja keuangan dan laporan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) sebelum dan sesudah Go Public dengan menjadikan PT BRI Syariah Tbk yang telah dipublikasikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode perbandingan uji statistik non parametrik dua sampel terkait (uji Wilcoxon). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bank syariáh lebih baik setelah go public. Hal ini dapat dilihat dimana variabel Kewajiban Penyediaan Modal Minimum (KPMM) memiliki perbedaan yang cukup besar. Sedangkan variabel lainnya seperti Non Performing Fin ancing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Return on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Operating Margin (NOM), dan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) memiliki perbedaan yang cukup kecil.
This study aims to find out how the role or exsitence of Sharia venture capital as an alternative financial institution that provides capital assistance for MSMEs actors in Indonesia. This research is a type of research using qualitative methods with information and data collection techniques through library research and secondary data sources. The results show that the existence of the role of Sharia venture capital as an alternative capital for MSMEs has succeeded in helping MSMEs not only in terms of strengthening capital but also in terms of HR management, with management assistance, increasing product distribution efficiency by utilizing marketing technology and increasing the ability to earn profits. So that the existence of Sharia venture capital becomes an alternative financing for MSMEs in Indonesia. The benefits obtained by MSMEs from sharia venture capital financing are supported by the role of sharia venture capital companies, which of course cannot be obtained from banking institutions.
