This study aims to describe the skills and abilities of students in using digital media and to find out the obstacles experienced by students as well as the efforts made by teachers in improving skills in online learning. This research uses desciptive qualitative method. It applies the observation, and interviews to get the data. The result shows that: the use of digital media in SMP Negeri 2 Kabanjahe includes the ability to connect in online learning, the ability to communicate in online learning and the ability to do and submit the assignments in online learning. Evaluation of information content includes a student's ability to think critically and provide an assessment of what is found online accompanied by the ability to identify the validity and completeness of information. Producing information content includes the ability to produce or create content such as Facebook, writing on a blog or website, create video clips using images or audio, or other forms of content.
This study aims to describe the implementation of children's moral education by parents in Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua. The research applies descriptive qualitative method by using interview, observation and documentation by 7 (seven) rayons/areas of the Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua. The description of the implementation of moral education for children by parents at the Paroki Santo Yosef Delitua is related from several aspects. This aspect shows the implementation of children's moral education by parents. The first aspect is related to parents having an understanding and knowledge of the importance of children's moral education. Parents are the first and foremost educators of children. Thus, parents become moral role models for children. The second aspect is related to parental support to be realized in words. Furthermore, the third aspect, namely the implementation of children's moral education by parents, is reflected in daily life, namely the freedom of will, responsibility, and the linkage of moral and Christian moral norms which are manifested in everyday life. Struktur naratif (Chattman) merupakan teori sastra dalam kelompok teori postrukturalisme naratologi yang terdiri atas Struktur plot, Struktur fisik, ras, dan relasi gender, Struktur ruang dan waktu serta Struktur transmisi narasi. Teori struktural ini banyak dimanfaatkan bagi pengkaji sastra lisan yang berhubungan dengan cerita rakyat. Cerita rakyat adalah salah satu kekayaan budaya yang dimiliki oleh bangsa Indonesia. Setiap daerah dapat dipastikan memiliki cerita rakyat termasuk cerita rakyat suku Nias. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis struktur- struktur cerita Rakyat Nias dan pandangan mahasiswa suku Nias terhadap cerita Rakyat. Subyek penelitian ialah mahasiswa-mahasiswa suku Nias yang ada di kampus Universitas Prima Indonesia yang terdiri atas 14 orang yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data ialah kuesioner dengan daftar tanya sebagai instrumen. Teori yang digunakan dalam menganalisis data ialah teori struktur naratif dan teori deskriptif kualitatif. Metode analisis menggunakan teori Milles dan Hubberman yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis data telah diperoleh hasil penelitian yakni struktur cerita rakyat Nias memiliki struktur plot, struktur fisik, ras, dan relasi gender, struktur ruang dan waktu serta struktur transmisi narasi yang terjalin menjadi satu kesatuan yang logis dan sistematis. Mahasiswa UNPRI menyatakan pandanganya terhadap cerita rakyat Nias yakni Mahasiswa UNPRI mengenal cerita rakyat sejak kecil, diperoleh dari orang tua dan bermanfaat karena mengandung nilai-nilai seperti nilai moral, sosial, etika dan nilai religius. Oleh sebab itu, penting adanya upaya pelestarian dan pengembangan cerita rakyat oleh semua pihak agar tetap melestarikan cerita rakyat Nias tersebut dan menjadikannya sebagai kekayaan budaya daerah dan budaya nasional. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis ulah kesalehan dan manfaat ulah kesalehan bagi umat dalam menghayati masa Prapaskah Di Paroki Gembala Yang Baik Lubuk Pakam. Penelitian tersebut dilaksanakan di Paroki Gemmbala yang Baik Lubuk Pakam. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik penentuan informan dilakukan dengan Purposive Sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu, pertimbangan dilakukan tersebut dianggap menguasai bahan objek atau situasi penelitian. Temuan penelitian ini adalah jenis ulah kesalehan pada masa prapaskah di Paroki Gembala Yang Baik Lubuk Pakam masih belum terjalankan sepenuhnya seperti devosi jalan ibunda atau tujuh kedukaan dan tablo. Sejumlah jenis ulah kesalehan yang diikuti oleh umat pada masa prapaskah memiliki manfaat yang dapat dilihat umat ketika merasakan apa yang dialami oleh Yesus ketika sengsara dan wafat.
The aim of this research is to understand how parents' democratic parenting in developing the moral intelligence of children aged 6-12 years at Santo Yosep Delitua Parish. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This research is conducted at Santo Yosep Delitua Parish, from February to April 2023. The research subjects are selected by purposive sampling. In this study, there are 15 informants consisting of parents and children aged 6-12 who are the research subjects. Data collection techniques are carried out by observing and continuing with interviews with research informants. The data analysis process includes three main stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and research conclusions. The results of the study show that parents' democratic parenting in developing the moral intelligence of children aged 6-12 years has been applied by parents at Santo Yosep Delitua Parish. The development of children's moral intelligence consisting of empathy, conscience, self-control, respect, kindness, tolerance, and fairness at Santo Yosep Delitua Parish has not been fully seen because they are still unable to be fair and unable to control themselves.
