In today's modern business environment, e-business is gaining stronger role and application. External and internal electronic communication become everyday unavoidable part of business processes in many organizations, regardless of their activity and size. This study is an attempt to examine the efficiency of e-business application in public companies in Serbia. Basis of the research were the employees in public companies in Serbia, in the region of Srem. The purpose of the paper consisted of the identification of familiarity with significance of e-business, as well as the level of efficient application of Internet technology in present conditions of Serbian public enterprises' functioning. Research and analysis of the results obtained have indicated that besides solid familiarity of employees with the significance of e-business, the current functioning of electronic communication does not provide full support to the operation of public enterprises in Serbia. The facts that Serbia is a country in transition and that market liberalization largely reflects itself on public services' operation, point out to the significance of subject research. Scientific information obtained by research on the title subject could be purposeful to the management of public services in Serbia, as well as other countries in transition.
ApstraktS postojećom ekspanzijom globalne ekonomije i brzim promenama u razvoju tehnologije i inovacija, organizacije se suočavaju sa stalnom potrebom za učenjem i razvojem zaposlenih. Pošto znanje sve više postaje ključni faktor za produktivnost, ono je takođe postalo valuta za konkurentni uspeh. Razumevanje faktora koji doprinose organizacionom učenju i prenosu znanja na radno okruženje danas su od suštinskog značaja po uspeh neke organizacije. U organizacijama koje mogu da kultivišu radnu sredinu za razmenu znanja, zaposleni dele ideje kao prirodni deo svoje funkcije posla, a ne kao nešto što su primorani da rade. Namera ovog rada je da, kroz pregled relevantne literature, determiniše organizacionu kulturu kao prediktora uspešnosti organizacionog učenja i identifikuje faktore koji utiču na transfer znanja unutar neke organizacije.
In business environment that changes rapidly, innovation becomes a precondition for success and even the survival of some organization. Therefore, innovation finds the way and takes most important place in many organizations throughout the world. Innovation brings development and growth of a company, creation of opportunities in new markets and, at the same time, injects new life to mature industries. Aware of this fact, many organizations aim at launching new products and services through continuous innovations and thus remain successful in the market. That is also followed by the requirement for changing the traditional way of doing business, which implies the increase of interest in mechanisms that are implied by modern management principles, such as knowledge management and innovation processes. The purpose of the paper presented consisted in studying and identifying the extent to which the processes of innovation are applied in Serbian public enterprises.
ApstraktU brzo promenjivom poslovnom okruženju inovacija postaje preduslov za uspeh ili čak i opstanak neke organizacije. S toga inovacija pronalazi put i zauzima najznačajnije mesto u mnogim organizacijama širom sveta. Ona predstavlja jedan od relevantnih faktora za razvoj neke kompanije, kao i ključni element za tržišnu konkurentnost. To podrazumeva generisanje novih ideja transformisanih i implementiranih u proizvode, usluge ili procese, koji stvaraju vrednost za firmu. Umeće neke kompanije sastoji se u njenoj sposobnosti da uspešno upravlja složenom mrežom društvenih, naučnih, tehnoloških i poslovnih faktora koji rezultiraju ka istinskoj inovaciji. Namera ovog rada sastojala se da kroz literarni prikaz ukaže na kompleksan i dinamičan odnos između kreativnosti pojedinaca, kolektivnog učenja i razmene znanja, kao i njihovog uticaj na stvaranje ˝organizacione inovativnosti¨.Ključne riječi: upravljanje znanjem, organizaciono učenje, inovacija. It includes new ideas transformed and implemented in products, services and processes, which create a value for the company. Skill of a company consists in its ability to successfully manage a complex network of social, scientific, technological and business factors that result in actual innovation. The purpose of this paper was to point out, through literary overview, to a complex and dynamic relationship between the creativity of individuals, collective learning and knowledge exchange, as well as their impact on the creation of "organizational innovativity".
