This study aims to find out (1) the ways of teacher to keep his closeness to the students at SMK Nadhlatun Nasyiin Kadur Pamekasan and ( 2) the role of teacherstudent closeness in learning English at SMK Nadhlatun Nasyiin Kadur Pamekasan. This study is a quantitative research by using descriptive case study approach. The participants of this study are students of grade VII at SMK Nadhlatun Nasyiin Kadur. Observation and interviews with teacher and students were conducted to get the data of teacher-student closeness. The results of the study show that the teacher have five ways to keep his closeness to his students those are saying "hello/assalamualikum or calling the students' name coming to the classroom, giving the students some question to have an interaction in English, giving some tasks, motivating students to speak English, and inviting students to talk in English. The roles of teacher-student closeness in learning English at SMK Nadhlatun Nasyiin Kadur Pamekasan are students have motivation to learn and to communicate in English dan they have low anxiety level in learning and talking in English.
Nilai mahasiswa yang rendah pada mata kuliah kalkulus disebabkan karena adanya banyak rumus sehingga mahasiswa keliru dalam memahami konsep. Mahasiswa hanya menghitung tanpa mengetahui konsep yang diterapkan. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan sebuah model pembelajaran yang membuat mahasiswa mengurangi kesulitan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas, respon dan hasil belajar mahasiswa selama mengimplementasikan model Osborn berbasis IT. Melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas diperoleh aktivitas, respon dan hasil belajar mahasiswa berturut-turut mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,775, 17,87%, dan 46,42%. Peningkatan tersebut dari refleksi yang terus dilakukan dari setiap pembelajaran dengan lebih peka terhadap karakteristik mahasiswa dan memotivasi mahasiswa agar berani berpendapat.
The important role of MSMEs is increasingly being felt in the process of national economic development in Indonesia. Branta Tinggi Village is one of the villages in Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency which has a large number of MSMEs. However, there are still many MSME owners in Branta Tinggi Village who do not understand the importance of business legality in the form of making a Business Identification Number (NIB), because some people have an understanding that obtaining business permits and legality is a complicated and time-consuming matter. Meanwhile, the Business Identification Number (NIB) itself plays an important role in running a business. In carrying out this community service activity, the University of Madura KKN 4 Team is trying to increase the potential of MSMEs to improve the welfare of the people of Branta Tinggi Village. One of them is by helping to make NIB (Business Identification Number) in 3 hamlets. This community service activity is given in making a Business Identification Number (NIB) which is carried out through the door to door method where this service activity is carried out in real time by visiting the residence of each UMKM in three hamlets in the village of Branta Tinggi.
This study aims to determine (1) how the application of Blog-Gothic as an interactive learning media in Analytical Geometry course (2) the response of students to the use of Blog-Gothic as an interactive learning media in the course of Analytical Geometry. This blog utilization is expected to produce a significant influence, which is in addition to aiming to improve student learning outcomes, it is also expected to help students wisely utilize the internet to find material lectures, discuss difficulties in certain subjects and increase creativity in writing. In addition, lecturers are also easier to monitor the progress of their students through their Blogs or by visiting student Blogs. It is also expected to be able to overcome the diversity of the ability to ask and argue and also can be a solution to the lack of face-to-face hours of lectures. This research is a quantitative research with the use of quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental. Subjects are given an initial test and then given Blog-based learning and then given a final test to find out the improvement in learning outcomes. Observations, questionnaires and interviews were conducted to obtain student response data on Blog-Gothic usage.
