When it comes to education, the COVID-19 epidemic has had a major effect, particularly on distance learning techniques that must be completed online. It also applies to Architecture and Interior Design students in the planning and design studio lecture activities, which were formerly carried out offline in the studio but are now required to be carried out online from their individual residences, as part of the online learning methodology. Various difficulties encountered in architectural and interior planning, as well as design studio lectures, need students' adaptation via the use of virtual reality and digital technology. There are numerous restrictions in terms of visual and digital communication, ranging from the use of technical equipment to the facilities held by lecturers and students. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach, in which data was gathered via questionnaires, with the respondents being architecture and interior design students who answered the questions. According to the findings of the research, the adaptation of online lectures is not only a virtual and digital issue, but also a physical and non-physical one that requires consideration. When it comes to architectural and interior planning and design studio courses, virtual and digital changes have an impact on the learning process and the quality of learning results. Physical adaptation necessitates the provision of supporting resources in the form of tools and equipment to aid in the delivery of classroom lectures. Non-physical adaptation includes changes in time, patterns and methods of learning, behavior, psychology, and the internet network, as well as changes in the internet network itself. In future studies, it is necessary to do more in-depth study on behavioral and psychological adjustments and perspectives.
Tulisan ini membahas tentang sosok Usep Romli HM sebagai pelaku sejarah dalam dakwah Islam. Usep melihat celah dakwah yang berbeda. Beliau mampu menghadirkan risalah kenabian dengan baik dalam kesusastraan Sunda yang kemudian menjadi celah untuknya berdakwah. Teori Orang Besar atau The Great Man Theory dari Thomas Carlyle digunakan dalam penelitian ini, di mana menempatkan Usep Romli HM sebagai pahlawan, individu yang berpengaruh, berkarisma, cerdas, hikmat, dan memiliki keterampilan berpolitik. Sebagai diskursus kesejarahan, penelitian ini ditempuh melalui metodologi penelitian sejarah: Heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Atas telaah tersebut, maka Usep Romli HM layak diapresiasi dan disematkan sebagai tokoh sejarah dakwah Islam dalam wacana budaya Sunda.
Rumah adat merupakan peninggalan kebudayaan masyarakat tradisional yang harus dijaga keberadaannya sebagai cagar budaya oleh masyarakat yang hidup saat ini. Di Indonesia, terdapat banyak terdapat rumah yang ada hingga saat ini. Salah satunya adalah rumah adat yang berada di Desa Neglasari, Kecamatan Salawu, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Provinsi Jawa Barat yang dikenal Kampung Naga. Gaya arsitektur rumah adat di Kampung Naga tersebut adalah berupa rumah panggung seperti layaknya rumah tradisional masyarakat Sunda. Karena itu, gayanya yang unik, di sisi rumah adat di Kampung Naga ini juga memiliki filosofi dan nilai-nilai Islam di dalamnya. Tulisan ini bertujuan mengungkap filosofi dan nilai-nilai Islam dalam gaya bangunan rumah adat di Kampung Naga Tasikmalaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengamatan lapangan, wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan filosofi bangunan rumah adat Kampung Naga dengan bahan alami mencerminkan hubungan baik antara masyarakat adat Kampung Naga dengan alam. Tidak hanya itu, bangunan panggung yang mencerminkan kesederhanaan menunjukan kehidupan masyarakat Kampung Naga. Nilai-nilai Islam dalam bangunan rumah adat Kampung Naga dilihat dari struktur bangunan dan bentuk (model) rumah yang mengandung nilai-nilai hubungan yang harmonis antara manusia, alam dan Tuhan. Dalam Islam disebut dengan istilah habluminallah, habluminanas dan habluminalalam.
This article discusses the interpretation of the Qur'an by the activists of Persatuan Islam (PERSIS). The tradition of writing Qur'anic interpretation starts from Tafsr Al-Furqān by A. Hassan in 1928 to Tafsr Juz 'Amma for Children by Roni Nugraha in 2019. In quantity, the interpretations produced by Persatuan Islam activists are relatively large. This research utilises library research and interviews as a method to gather the data. This research employs the science of Qur'anic interpretation which is useful for analysing the characteristics of the interpretation Persatuan Islam and the theory of critical discourse analysis of Norman Fairclough in order to reveal the ideology or interests of the relevant mufasir (exeges). In terms of characteristics, the Qur'anic interpretations of Persatuan Islam activists are dominated by the tahlīlī method, sourced from bi al-mathūr, a tendency towards Sunni Islam, and have a variety of styles, including adāb al-ijtimā'ī, fiqhī, akhlāqī, and lughawī. While ideologically, the mufasir of Persatuan Islam activists could not avoid their social and intellectual background and organisational affiliation. They included in their Qur'anic interpretation and served as modernist Islam. They are also criticising various traditional Islamic practices. With the changing of political era, in the Reform era, the mufasir of Persatuan Islam through their works of Qur'anic interpretation, criticised more to the heretical sects that according to them have no roots in Islam.
Everyone must have got the measure of sustenance from Allah swt.. However, sometimes some of them subconsciously invest in unnecessary material possessions. The study would be exploring the concept of superfluous in the qur'an. Research methods used are a qualitative kind through library studies with content analysis. The final outcome about the discussions of this research will mentions a general view of waste, a verse about superfluous in the qur'an, and useless analysis of the verse. The final conclusion of this study represent that it is costly to waste, and these waste forms could include possessions, food, drink, and excessive use of other necessities. There are several ways to avoid the wasteful behavior given by clerics. The study recommends the importance of avoiding wasteful behavior so that avoid the harmful effects of being a brother to devil.
