Introduction: Stunting is a condition of the measured height of toddlers, which is less to the age. Stunting, which occurs in these children, is also considered in chronic nutrition problems. The study aimed to discover the correlation between breastfeeding mothers' pattern in breastfeeding for toddlers aged 0 days to 6 months with the stunting incidence in toddlers in Gandatapa village, Sumbang sub-district, Banyumas district. Methods: This study implemented an observational analytic method that examined the correlation between breastfeeding mothers' patterns and stunting incidence. This research design was case control. This study conducted two sampling techniques; total sampling and simple random sampling, and each was used for sampling and control groups. The research sample collected 80 respondents. The study used a questionnaire of breastfeeding mothers and TB/U observation charts for ages 2 to 5 years, according to WHO 2005.Results: Based on the bivariate analysis, the pattern of breastfeeding mothers in Gandatapa Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency was in a bad category with 22 stunting toddlers (55%). Pearson Chi-Square test on the Pattern of Breastfeeding Mothers towards Stunting Incidents in toddlers obtained p-value = 0.024 <0.05 with an OR value of 2.852 (95% CI 1.137 - 7.152).Conclusion: Toddlers under 24 to 35 months can increase the risk of stunting incidence when mothers have poor breastfeeding patterns.
Mycobacterium tuberculosis is the leading cause of death worldwide from a single bacterial pathogen. World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that annually, 1 million children have tuberculosis disease and many more harbor a latent form of infection. Evaluation of time trends is an integral part of a comprehensive analysis of tuberculosis among children data. Objective: This study aimed to assess trends in tuberculosis among children incidence in the period 2015-2021. Tuberculosis among data were collected from tuberculosis database of Pekalongan Health Department. Data were analyzed by using Microsoft Excel. In the period 2015-2019, the tuberculosis among children incidence significantly increased from 11 to 165 cases, then drop in the period 2019-2021 from 165 to 32 cases. The largest increase in trend in the analysed period was observed for 2019, which showed an increase of 165 cases. Knowledge of the current tuberculosis among children burden in the population and its time trends will help to prioritise targets and future resource allocation to tuberculosis among children control.
Desain penelitian quasi eksperimental pre test and post test without control group dengan besae sampel 30 responden.
Introduction: One of the causes of health problems is the use of drugs irrationally, which can result in therapy becoming less effective and inefficient. According to World Health Organization (WHO), more than 50% of the world’s drugs are prescribed and used improperly. People still lack information about drugs, how to use drugs and how to get drugs. My Medicine is a drug data information system, how to use drugs, and map locations of pharmacies that sell drugs. This study aims to evaluate the user perception of the use of my medicine. Materials and methods: The method in this study was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach. One hundred twenty respondents were included in this study involving communities in Pekalongan district by using univariate analysis. Results: The result was 82% of the respondents explained that the performance or interface user of the My Medicine App was very good and the language was easy to understand, 82% of the respondents said that the information on the My Medicine App is needed daily, 84% of the respondents said that My Medicine App easy to access from the mobile phone, 80% of the respondents explained the data provided in the My Medicine App was accurate and as what they are expected. Conclusion: The conclusion is My Medicine App has a very good performance, the language is easy to understand, the information is needed daily, the app is easy to access through a mobile phone. The data presented in the My Medicine Application is accurate, and by user expectations.
