This study aims to compare the face-to-face learning process with online learning on the effectiveness of student learning in class XI Accounting at SMK PGRI 2 Jambi City. The design of this study uses the Quasi Experiment method. The population in this study was 78 students from all XI Accounting Classes at SMK PGRI 2 Jambi City. The sample used in this study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class (XI AK2) with 26 students and the control class (XI AK1) with 26 students. Data collection techniques used in this study include interviews, observation and multiple choice tests. The research instrument tests used include the validity of the questions and the reliability of the questions, the level of difficulty test, and the test of discriminating power. Furthermore, inferential statistical tests were carried out, namely normality tests and homogeneity tests. The hypothesis test used is the ANCOVA test to answer the research hypothesis. Based on the results of this study, it can be obtained that there is a significant difference between the effectiveness of student learning through the face-to-face learning process and online learning on the learning effectiveness of students in class XI Accounting at SMK PGRI 2 Jambi City. This is evidenced by the calculation of the ancova test listed in the Tests of Between-Subjects Effects table, the significance level in the line "Learning effectiveness" is 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be explained that student learning can be said to be effective if mastery learning can be achieved properly through a supportive learning process so that interactions between teachers and students as well as fellow students can spur high enthusiasm for students, so that teachers can create an educative learning atmosphere and conducive.
The purpose of this study is to build a strategy model for optimizing the achievement of IKU 5 at Jambi University. The Main Performance Index (KPI) is a benchmark of achievement made by universities in Indonesia. As a highlight, Jambi University's KPI 5 became one of the indicators whose achievement exceeded the target of 142.05%, compared to other KPI achievements. However, this achievement was not accompanied by an increase in achievement growth compared to the previous year. The decline in growth from the previous year was -51.12%. This study uses action research methods. The deepening of the problem is carried out by direct observation and document review. The available information is used as the basis for formulating a strategy model for achieving KPI 5 at Jambi University. The results of the study indicate that the main problems that need to be resolved are related to (a) management of recognition of Lecturer Performance Burden (BKD), (b) internationally recognized research ideas and results, and (c) lecturer participation in conducting research and community service. The strategies developed include (a) planning research outcomes that meet the KPI 5 indicators, (b) improving BKD management, (c) providing incentives, and (d) participation of international academic associations.
According to the view of post-modernism in the world of education, humans are no longer subjects and actors to take advantage of science and technology but fall trapped into objects and targets controlled by science and technology as a product of modernism. In fact, technology and information are currently the solution to the development of creativity in the learning process which is also reflected in the implementation of the independent learning curriculum. This research uses a qualitative paradigm with a literature study method. In-depth analysis of the process of elaboration and subjective meaning are the thing that is most highlighted in qualitative research. The theory is then used as a guide to align the research focus with the facts of the field. The research results obtained are described as follows: Post-Modern Threats, Cultural penetration in the historical learning, and Digitalization and historical empathy. The conclusion is that digitization in historical learning is an important literacy process and really requires technological advances. But furthermore, the packaging must still include the essence of the nation's values and character.
