<p>Critical thinking in education has been widely practiced following the awareness that it helps a lot the students specifically in science subjects. In accordance with critical thinking ability in science, students who show ability on critical thinking will successfully cope with problems they encounter. Such ability hopefully works in their learning achievement. The objective of this research is to investigate the influence of creative and critical thinking on the achievement of the students of the Department of Primary Education IKIP PGRI Madiun in the class of Science Concepts II. The current study makes use of the descriptive correlational. As many as 191students enrolled the class of science concepts II in the academic year 2012/2013, out of 366 populations, serve as the sample through the proportional random sampling technique. Tests were administered to collect the data analyzed by applying descriptive analysis of double regression to assess the hypothesis in which SPSS PASW Statistics 18 was applied. Results show that there is significant correlation on the variables of creative and critical thinking on their achievement. The creative thinking contributes 20.13% while the critical thinking contribution is 21.53%. Other variables beyond this research contribute 58.34%.</p><p> </p><p>Key words: Creative Thinking Ability, Critical Thinking, Student Achievement</p><p> </p>
Literasi adalah kunci untuk membuka pengetahuan dan wawasan siswa. Kemampuan literasi yang baik pada siswa akan memungkinkan siswa mengembangkan diri secara maksimal sehingga tercapai sesuatu yang baik pula. Sayangnya kemampuan literasi siswa di Indonesia jika dilihat dari berbagai data penelitian masih jauh dari harapan. Untuk mencapai kemampuan literasi yang baik, pembelajaran literasi merupakan hal pokok yang harus terlaksana dengan baik terutama di tingkat dasar. Untuk itu perlu penelitian mendalam tentang pembelajaran literasi di SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran literasi di SD. Subjek penelitian dipilih di SDN Rejosari 1 Kecamamatan Kawedanan sebab SD yang bersangkutan merupakan SD inti di Kecamatan Kawedanan dan merupakan SD percontohan namun belum pernah ada penelitian yang meneliti tentang pembelajaran literasi di SD tersebut. Bertitik tolak dari tujuan penelitian di atas, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran literasi di SDN Rejosari belum berjalan dengan maksimal jika dilihat dari aspek perencanaan, proses, dan evaluasinya. Kendala utama pembelajaran literasi terletak pada faktor pemahaman guru terhadap pembelajaran literasi itu sendiri serta faktor kebijakan sekolah yang belum membentuk tim Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS).
The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using Google Classroom to measure the level of understanding of student material. The design of this research is experimental research. The research sample was 64 students who attended the Quantitative Research Methodology course, which was divided into two classes (Class A and Class B). The instrument used to measure student understanding was a test. The analysis used is descriptive analysis and F test. Descriptive analysis shows the mean Class A test result = 69.21 and the mean Class B test result = 65.74. The results of the data analysis show that the use of Google Classroom is effective in measuring the level of understanding of student material.
Problems schools that implement Curriculum 2013 in Magetan East Java is a teacher despite having been training Curriculum 2013 are still difficulties in developing thematic integrative learning device that refers to the scientific aproach. This study uses research development. The model chosen is a model development with consideration Adie simple step yet complete. Data extracted by open questionnaire and interview, after a teacher read a book, and then reflect on their understanding of the developing a learning device in Curriculum 2013. The results of data analysis known that the teacher's response is limited to books developed model is very good. Teachers stated that they understand the development of learning tools on the Curriculum 2013, especially in the scientific and thematic integrative approach.
