The Indonesian Society of Nephrology survey there are 18 million people in Indonesia suffering from chronic kidney disease. Chronic kidney disease is a progressive disorder of renal function and requires treatment in the form of kidney transplantation, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis and long-term outpatient treatment. Patients undergoing hemodialysis experience various problems arising from kidney malfunction. Anxiety is a psychological impact that hemodialysis patients often complain about. Coping mechanism is one of the factors that affect the patient's anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship of coping mechanism with anxiety level in chronic renal failure patients in Hemodialisa Unit of NTB Provincial Hospital. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational research design using cross sectional approach. The selection of samples was conducted by purposive sampling method with a sample count of 69 respondents. The research instruments used HARS questionnaire, and Jalowiec Coping Scale questionnaire. Analyze the data in this study using Chi-Square test analysis. The results showed that there was a link between coping mechanisms and anxiety levels in chronic renal failure patients in the Hemodialysis Unit of NTB Provincial Hospital with a significance value of 0.009 (p<0.05). With the results of this study, it is expected that the family can provide support to patients to use adaptive coping so as to lower the level of anxiety of patients.
Introduction: School aged called as intelectual time in industrial development stage. Industrial development stage is important in human development stages. The purpose of this tudy was to know the effect of school aged therapeutic group therapy to mental development.Methods: The design was quasi experimental pre-post test with control group. One hundred and sixteen children at 9–11 years old were used as sample of this study that divided to 38 children on first intervention group (childparents), 36 children on second intervention group (child-teacher) and 40 children on control group.Results: Result of the study showed that cognitive, psychomotor and industrial development ability had increased significantly after therapeutic group therapy was given (p-value < 0.005) in intervention group.Conclusion: The study was recomended in child-parents and child-teacher to increase mental development in school aged children.
Hypertension, also known as the sillet killer, is a non-communicable disease that is quite dominant in the world in both developed and developing countries. Hypertension shows blood pressure levels above normal limits. Hypertension is often found in the elderly. The factors that make the elderly suffer from hypertension are genetic and environmental factors. Genetic factors affect sensitivity to sodium, sensitivity to stress, reactivity of blood vessels to vasoconstrictors, insulin resistance and others. Meanwhile, environmental factors include diet, smoking habits, emotional stress, and obesity. This study aims to determine the effect of dhuha prayer therapy on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive elderly at the Tresna Werdha Social Home, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This study used quasi-experimental research design with one group pre-test post-test design (pre-test design in one group, no comparison / control group). The sample in this study were 16 people. Based on the results of the analysis using the dependent t test, it was found that the value of p = 0.00 (p <0.05), so it can be concluded that there is an effect of dhuha prayer therapy on reducing blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension. Silent killer is the nickname of hypertension because someone who has hypertension has even been for years often not aware until complications occur. Hypertension is one of the cormorbid in covid 19 cases so that anxiety is experienced by people with hypertension during the covid 19 pandemic. This study aims to identify the extent of anxiety experienced by people with hypertension. The study used descriptive methods with a crosssectional approach. The results of the study were obtained from 87 respondents in this study that the most respondents were in the age group of >61 years as many as 77 people (88.5%), Female sex as many as 52 people (59.8%) Most respondents worked as retirees as many as 63 people (72.4%) and had a moderate anxiety level of 35 people (40.2%).The conclusion is that there are still many people with hypertension who experience anxiety so that the role of nurses is needed in improving education related to the handling of hypertension in the pandemic covid19 era.
Implementation of Referral System is one of the instruments to measure the quality of health services to the public. Satisfaction feeling of services quality presently still less in public, especially in making external referrals. The aimed of this research was to determine the implementation of the external referral system for patients in Matarampublic health center. The design used in this research was descriptive design. The samplesused in this researchwere 76 people, they were takenby purposive sampling technique. The research instrumentsin this research used an observation sheet and a questionnaire. Implementation of the external referral system based on Standard Operating Procedure with 72 (94.7%) respondents and the implementation of the external referral system out of Standard Operating Procedure with 4 (5.3%) respondents. The external referral system in clinical procedures shows that the implementation of the external referral system based on Standard Operating Procedure were 65 (85.5%) and the implementation of the external referral system out of Standard Operating Procedure were 11 (14.5%) respondents. The administrative procedure shows that the implementation of the patient's external referral system based on Standard Operating Procedure were 37 (48.7%) and the implementation of the external patient referral system out of Standard Operating Procedure.
