Tujuan utama kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan dan memberikan penguatan kepedulian guru dan siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Matesih Karanganyar terhadap lingkungan sosial-budaya sekolah dalam pendidikan etika dan karakter di era komunikasi global sekarang ini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini melibatkan guru dan siswa berjumlah 34 siswa yang ada di SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Matesih yang diawali dengan pengamatan terlibat aktif, wawancara mendalam secara langsung dilanjutkan dengan teknik Partisipatory Rural Appraisal kepada guru dan siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Matesih. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya pendidikan etika dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa yang ada di SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Matesih lebih menanggapi akan pentingnya lingkungan yang bersih, serta siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Matesih telah dapat memanfaatkan botol-botol bekas sebagai pot bunga dan lebih bertanggung jawab atas sampah yang ada di lingkungan sekolah dengan membuang sampah pada tempat sampah yang telah di sediakan oleh tim KKN-Dik maka dengan diadakannya pengabdian masyarakt pendidikan ini dapat mengetahui bahwa dengan diadakannya pendidikan etika dan karekter peduli lingkungan ini dapat menumbuhkan etika dan karakter siswa dalam bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan yang bersih, rapi, indah, dan nyaman. Oleh sebab itu, guru dan siswa perlu didorong secara berkala dan berkelanjutan dalam pendidikan etika dan karakter yang berbasis pada potensi lingkungan sosial-budaya sekolah.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penilaian afektif dalam pembelajaran tematik masa pandemi Covid-19 di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas di tiga SD Negeri Kecamatan Baki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) perencanaan penilaian afektif pada pembelajaran tematik di SD Negeri kecamatan Baki yaitu guru merumuskan indikator pembelajaran dan PBKB yang memuat komponen-komponen nilai, menentukan aspek yang dinilai, memilih teknik penilaian yang akan digunakan dan mengembangkan instrumen penilaian nilai; 2) Pelaksanaan kegiatan penilaian afektif pada pembelajaran tematik di SD Negeri Kabupaten Baki guru cenderung belum melaksanakan kegiatan penilaian afektif sesuai dengan perencanaan; 3) Pemanfaatan dan tindak lanjut hasil penilaian afektif pada pembelajaran tematik di SD Negeri Kabupaten Baki cenderung dimanfaatkan dan ditindaklanjuti untuk tiga kepentingan yaitu untuk memberikan umpan balik, pelaporan, dan evaluasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah guru di SD Negeri Kabupaten Baki telah memanfaatkan hasil penilaian afektif sebagai bahan evaluasi efektivitas pembelajaran. Beberapa hal yang dilakukan terkait hal tersebut seperti penerapan strategi acak jadwal, pengubahan metode pembelajaran daring dan pengambilan tindakan tegas kepada siswa. <span lang="EN-US">This qualitative-ethnography study described the critical thinking skill based on indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference in solving mathematical problem. The subjects of the study were the headmaster, math teachers, and ninth grade students of a public junior high school in academic year of 2020/2021. The data were collected through observation, field notes, interview, and documentation. Triangulation of sources and technique were used to ensure the data validation in this research. Data analysis technique was done inductively with continuous process along with the data collection. The results of the study showed high initial skills in mathematics become the basic need for the students in developing critical thinking skills based on indicators of interpretation. The improvement of critical thinking based on the indicator of interpretation is accustomed through problem-based learning. Critical thinking process based on the indicator of analysis is cultivated through collaborative learning. In this indicator, the students need special attention from the teacher. There is always the possibility for every student from each level to face difficulties in solving some problems without collaborating with others. The teachers can make more effort to optimize the students’ basic holistic skills in line with their knowledge and experience in order to improve students’ critical thinking skills based on the indicator of inference. In this indicator, teachers should guide the students to improve their critical thinking skills.</span>
The purpose of this study is to describe the management of the internationalization process of higher education in the form of self-governance, strategic plans (vision, mission, and objectives), institutional management, curriculum and learning processes, and quality assurance. The research applied a qualitative approach. The scope of the research is limited to the policy/ legal framework for managing the internationalization of higher education at three Islamic universities in Yogyakarta, comprising the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, the Islamic University of Indonesia, and the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The data collection was conducted through the techniques of; (1) participant observation, (2) in-depth interviews, and (3) document study. The data analyses used are (1) on-site data analysis and (2) cross-site data analysis. The results of the study showed that the process of self-governance towards higher education institutions with international competitiveness was divided into several stages, namely: determination of the vision, mission, and objectives; development of learning and curriculum which are equivalent to foreign universities; recruitment of foreign students and lecturers; and quality assurance that prioritizes technology, ISO standards, orientation changes, and overall quality assurance. The self-governance accommodates the rapid change and unpredictable education situation due to many factors such as technology, social changes, society health issue, and disruption advanced education in pandemic era. In the context of tertiary management, distinctive competences in the future need to be adapted to distinctive management courtesy. For example, the internalization of speech acts according to local culture is one of the characteristics that can improve the sustainability of higher education.
