Indonesia has many types of local food with their own uniqueness. This potential has not been matched by people's interest in consuming local food. This is due to the low level of food processing technology innovation to produce prestigious local food. Micro small and medium enterprises are also low in building product image. Building a positive image of local food requires a study to obtain the right branding concept. The study method uses a post positivistic paradigm and inductive thinking patterns. The result of this study is that the branding strategy is focused on product branding. Building a positive image of local food is done by improving the physical appearance of the product by processing innovation, improving packaging, labeling, and paying attention to consumer tastes, then communicating intensively to the public. The branding concept is made simple, hits the hearts of the public, and must be consistent in maintaining the value of the product. Micro, small and medium enterprises must be diligent and creative in finding ideas to maintain consumer loyalty.
Gross Enrollment Ratio of ECE in Pemalang Regency shows 68.38% and there are 523 early childhood institution that haven't all conducted HI services. This study focuses on improving the quality management of ECE HI directed to describe and analyze: 1) the management implementation of ECE HI, 2) the collaboration between government institutions and organizations related to ECE providers in producing quality education. This is a descriptive research with subjects are teachers, headmaster, ECE supervisor and related elements in applying ECE HI. The results showed that the management of ECE HI in Pemalang Regency wasn't optimal. This happened because the government's carrying capacity is still low and comprehension of some educators and health cadres regarding HI services that haven't been maximized. Recommendations that the quality of ECE HI services can be carried out properly need to be developed in a system of integrated quality management.
ABSTRAKBadan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDesa) dibentuk dengan maksud dan tujuan meningkatkan perekonomian desa dengan cara mengelola potensi produkstif desa sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakatnya. BUMDesa diharapkan mampu menjadi penggerak utama ekonomi desa sekaligus mempercepat pemerataan pembangunan di desa. Oleh sebab itu, upaya serius perlu dilakukan oleh pengurus BUMDesa dan Pemerintah Desa agar pengurusan BUMDesa berjalan dengan efektif, efisien, professional, dan mandiri. Melalui mekanisme self help dan member-based, BUMDesa membuka peluang partisipasi masyarakat desa secara keseluruhan dalam mendayagunakan potensi produktif desa. Akan tetapi, pengurus bersama dengan Pemerintah Desa juga perlu menciptakan aturan main bersama dengan stakeholders lainnya agar usaha BUMDesa tidak dikuasai oleh kelompok tertentu di tingkat desa. Sebagai salah satu BUMDesa yang ada di Kabupaten Purworejo, BUMDesa Banjarsari baru mempunyai satu jenis usaha, yaitu penyewaan Gedung. Akan tetapi, pengurusan Gedung sebagai asset produktif milik BUMDesa belum dilakukan dengan baik sebab kemampuan manajerial pengurus BUMDesa Desa Banjarsari Kecamatan Purwodadi belum memadai. Pengurus BUMDesa belum melakukan analisis usaha maupun analisis keuangan dalam menjalankan usahanya tersebut. Kondisi tersebut memotivasiTim pengabdian masyarakaat untuk memberikan pelatihan analisis usaha serta penyusunan laporan keuangan agar usaha yang dikelola BUMDesa Desa Banjarsari dapat berjalan dengan baik, menghasilkan keuntungan, dan berkelanjutan. Pelatihan yang diberikan diharapkan memperkuat kapasitas kelembagaan BUMDesa Desa Banjarsari. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pengurus BUMDesa sangat bersemangat dalam mengikuti pelatihan. Hal ini diketahui selama sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab. Peserta yang merupakan pengurus BUMDesa bahkan mengharapkan agar kegiatan pelatihan semacam ini diberikan secara terjadwal dan terprogram agar pengurus benar-benar paham dan kemudian percaya diri dalam mengelola usaha BUMDesanya. Kesimpulan yang diambil di akhir sesi pelatihan, BUMDesa Banjarsari perlu diberikan pendampingan, pelatihan, dan transfer Ipteks pengurusan BUMDesa secara berkesinambungan serta menjalin kemitraan dengan pelaku bisnis lain agar bisnisnya lebih cepat berkembang. Therefore, serious efforts need to be made by the VOEs administrators and the Village Government so that the administrators of VOEs run effectively, efficiently, professionally, and independently. Through self-help and member-based mechanisms, VOEs open opportunities for the participation of the village community as a whole in utilizing the productive potential of the village. However, the administrators along with the Village Government also need to create rules of the game together with other stakeholders so that the VOEs business is not controlled by certain groups at the village level. As one of the VOEs in Purworejo Regency, the VOEs Banjarsari just has one type of business, namely building rentals. However, the management of the building as a productive asset belonging to VOEs has not been carried out properly because the managerial capabilities of the VOEs administrators, Banjarsari Village, Purwodadi District are not yet adequate. The VOEs administrators have not conducted a business analysis or financial analysis in running the business. The condition motivates the community service team of Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo to provide training in business analysis and preparation of financial reports for the administrators so that they can run the business well, generate profits, and be sustainable. The training provided is expected to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Banjarsari village-owned enterprise. The results showed that they were very enthusiastic about participating in the training as well as they expect more that such training activities are provided on a scheduled and programmed basis so that they get better to understand and also be confident in managing the business. The findings show that administrators need to be provided with assistance, training, and transfer of science and technology to manage VOE on an ongoing basis and establish partnerships with other business actors so that the business will be able to grow faster. ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan pelaku usaha lanting desa Jetis Purworejo yang belum memiliki label sesuai dengan syarat yang ditentukan oleh peraturan pemerintah. Label sebagai identitas produk belum didesain dengan baik menyebabkan daya saing lanting Jetis rendah. Pelaku usaha menjual secara curah dengan berat 5kg dan label hanya stiker atau kertas yang dimasukkan dalam kemasan, selanjutnya lanting dijual eceran oleh pedagang besar dengan merk baru. Akibatnya produsen lanting tidak bisa mempromosikan secara luas dan konsumen kesulitan mengenali produsen lanting Jetis. Permasalahan terjadi karena pelaku usaha belum memahami pentingnya label dan fokus pada strategi penjualan saja.Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah memberikan pemahaman pelaku usaha lanting tentang labelling dan memberikan pendampingan pembuatan desain label produk lanting. Metode pengabdian masyarakt yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan pendampingan. Jumlah Mitra adalah 5 pelaku usaha yang merupakan anggota klaster keluarga Bapak Sodikun. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa Mitra mendapatkan tambahan wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang labelling, komponen yang harus ditulis dalam label, dan sangat antusias dengan adanya pendampingan desain label. Semua Mitra mendapatkan desain label yang baru dan 1 mitra mendapatkan desain kemasan baru yang marketable. Semua pelaku usaha mendapatkan pendampingan pengurusan legalitas usaha yang berguna untuk melengkapi komponen dalam labelling lanting. Mitra berharap ada pendampingan yang intensif agar wawasan dalam menjalankan usaha lebih baik dan bisa memperluas pasar. Kata kunci: labelling; lanting; UMKM ABSTRACTThis community service activity is motivated by the problem of lanting business actors in Jetis Purworejo village who do not yet have a label in accordance with the conditions determined by government regulations. The label as a product identity has not been designed properly, causing Jetis' lanting to have low competitiveness. Business actors sell in bulk with a weight of 5 kg and labels are only stickers or paper that are included in the packaging, then the lanting is sold at retail by wholesalers with new brands. As a result, lanting producers cannot promote widely and consumers have difficulty recognizing Jetis lanting producers. The problem occurs because business actors do not understand the importance of labels and focus on sales strategies only. The purpose of community service is to provide an understanding of lanting business actors about labeling and provide assistance in designing lanting product labels. The community service method used is counseling and mentoring. The number of partners is 5 business actors who are members of Mr. Sodikun's family cluster. The results of community service activities show that Partners gain additional insight and knowledge about labeling, the components that must be written in labels, and are very enthusiastic about label design assistance. All partners get a new label design and 1 partner gets a new marketable packaging design. All business actors get assistance in managing business legality which is useful to complete the components in lanting labeling. Partners hope that there will be intensive assistance so that they have better insight in running a business and expand the market. Keywords: labelling; lanting; SMEs
