«Philosophy» is one of the compulsory disciplines at the university. A student studying in any educational program masters the subject of philosophy, consisting of 5 credits. The article by Associate Professor Gizatullina G.A. analyzes the events occurring in the Republic of Kazakhstan during the pandemic. The author identifies four lessons that humanity must learn from the current reality. The first lesson is that the role of the state in the modern world must increase. The second lesson is the need for re-industrialization, in any case, Kazakhstan needs industrial development. The third lesson - it is necessary to restore medicine, especially such specialties as pulmonologists, virologists, microbiologists. As President Tokayev wrote about it correctly: “In the era of hybrid wars we need a developed medicine. The fourth lesson is that the effectiveness of a state is determined not by the number of officials, but by their quality. The pandemic has shown that the developed bureaucratic system is very burdensome, in connection with which Tokayev suggested reducing the bureaucratic apparatus and introducing young personnel there. The author offers not just an analysis of the events that took place, but also constructs a prospect of social development based on a knowledge-based economy.
The study aimed at investigating morphofunctional and hematological features of the first-year students’ health condition. The health status for a total of 400 first-year students, who arrived for studying from the northern region (North Kazakhstan) and the southern region (Turkestan, Kyzylorda), was estimated during the study. The morphological (BMI, vital lung capacity, etc.) and hematological (the total number of red blood cells, white blood cells, the concentration of hemoglobin in the blood, etc.) indicators of the health status were investigated. By comparing the condition of physical health in students from both regions, a significant difference in main morphofunctional and hematological indices has been established. The functional indicators of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems were higher in students from the southern region, which reflects a good adaptive reaction to studying at a university, as well as new climatic and geographical conditions. Students from the southern region were reported to have lower red blood cell amounts and diagnosed with mild anemia compared to those from the northern region. Therefore, constant monitoring of the health condition among youth is required to develop effective tactics for the students’ smooth adjusting to living in new climatic conditions.
In this study, it is aimed to investigate and design the methodological foundations for the development of practical tasks in geography based on the effectiveness approach. The research was carried out in the spring semester of 2021–2022. The study with the participation of 360 secondary school students was conducted in a quantitative research model. In the study, 4 weeks of geography and activity training were given to the group of participants. In order to collect data, the ‘effectiveness approach’ data collection tool developed by the researchers was used in the study. The data collection tool used in the research was delivered to the students and collected by the online method . The analysis of the data was carried out using the SPSS programme; frequency analysis was carried out using t-test and the results obtained were added to the study accompanied by tables. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the group of participants had methodological foundations for the development of practical tasks in geography based on the effectiveness approach.
