Since a few years ago, blended learning has been implemented by UNUSA. However, until now, the implementation is still not optimal. Various obstacles, such as network access, availability of devices, and unclear rules in implementing online learning, still occur. Readiness analysis is one of the critical success in online learning implementation. The main objective of this research is to conduct online learning readiness studies at UNUSA. This research was carried out in three main stages: the preparation of measurement instruments, data collection, and analysis of readiness level. The method used is descriptive research method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The Seakow & Samson e-learning readiness model with five dimensions of readiness, namely policy, technology, financial, human resource, and infrastructure, is used in this study. The result of this study shows that that UNUSA's level of readiness in implementing online learning is in the Ready category, requiring improvement to implement it with a readiness score of 3.68. The dimension with the highest score is technology, which is 3.84. Meanwhile, infrastructure and policy scored 3.77 and 3.72, respectively. The human resources dimension has a readiness score of 3.6. In contrast, the dimension with the lowest score is the financial dimension.
Accuracy of elicitation techniques selection will affect the quality of software requirements. However, mostly the selection was based on familiarity only. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the characteristics of each technique and its development. The identification was initialized through paper review on requirements elicitation topics published between 2001-2016. The results show that interviews are most frequently studied techniques. In addition, interviews, brainstorming, and document analysis considered as developed techniques. The developments are related to the use of processing tools from interviews such as tool ladder, electronic communication software and analytical techniques, namely social network analysis and collaborative filtering. The use of web application tools and social network sites marked the development of brainstorming technique. While in document analysis, the involvement of business process models and organizational models characterized the development. Interviews, brainstorming, and document analysis are most frequently used combinations techniques. Document analysis is used to find basic information, while interview is used to engaged with core users, and brainstorming is used to determine the list of requirements.
Information Systems Department has used fingerprints as a student attendance system. But its implementation is briefly, because there are still technical and non-technical problems in the system. Unfortunately, at this time, the fingerprint is only left installed in each classroom and the manual attendance system is reused. It can be seen that the unsuccessful project management is caused by problems in changing from the manual system to the fingerprint system. Based on the ploblems, Information Systems Department of ITS requires change management strategies to implement this system. The planning of change management strategy is initiated by analyzing the gap between the business processes of manual attendance system and of the fingerprint-based attendance system. The goal of this gap analysis is to identify the changes and the impacts which then let to an identification to the solution. The solution will be an input for the development of change management strategy using the perspectives of Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement (ADKAR) model. The strategy is then mapped according to Prosci’s state of change. The result from this research is a change management roadmap of the fingerprint system’s implementation. This roadmap contains three states of change, which covering current, transition, and future.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
