This research is motivated by the desire to find out the responses of the traineesto the quality of classroom action research (PTK) training conducted by IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. For that reason, the three research questions were proposed, namely first, how are the trainees' responses to the trainers’ competency? Second, how are the trainees’ understandingof the training material? Third, how are the trainees’ responsesto the quality of training? Data collection uses questionnaires, then analyzed by descriptive techniques, and the results are as follows. First, trainees' responses to trainers’ competencyare in Good category. This is evidenced by the average oftrainees’ answers in the range above 70% of interval scale, concerning skills competency, material delivery, giving instructions, and trainees’ responses. Second, the trainees' understanding of the training material is quite sufficient, because it is in the range 40% of interval scale. This is caused by many factors, even though the competence of the trainers have met the standards of feasibility. Third, the quality of the training is included in the Good category, because 71% of 100 trainees stated Good. This shows that the performance of the training has reached a feasiblestandard.
This study on the political strategy in the language use in Susilo BambangYudhoyono’s speeches is focused on the language behaviors. The data were collected from the internet sources containing his speeches in several occasions with regard to political policies during his presidency. The data were analyzed using the critical discourse analysis approach. The results show that his political strategy in the language use is reflected in the uses of words, sentences, and figures of speech. The language use helps public understandings of the conditions that Indonesian people are now facing and supports his presidency. From the language praxis, his political strategy in the language use is relevant to language behaviors in general.
This study aims to describe forms, functions, and strategies in autistic children’sdirective speech acts. The data were from the recording of dialogs performed in anautism-specific school and an inclusive school in Malang City. They were collectedthrough observations and recording. The data collection and analysis were interactively,simultaneously, and iteratively done to deeply and wholly understand forms, functions,and strategies in autistic children’s directive speech acts. The results of the study areas follows. First, the forms include requests, commands, and prohibitions. Second, thefunctions comprise those of requesting, commanding, and prohibiting. Third, the strategiesconsist of a direct strategy and an indirect strategy.
Pendidikan karakter merupakan bentuk kegiatan manusia yang di dalamnya terdapat suatu tindakan yang mendidik diperuntukkan bagi generasi selanjutnya. Tujuan pendidikan karakter adalah untuk membentuk penyempurnaan diri individu secara terusmenerus dan melatih kemampuan diri menuju hidup yang lebih baik. Pendidikan karakter dibutuhkan anak autis sebagai bekal dalam hidupnya sehingga siap menghadapi segala tantangan di dunia yang penuh persaingan dengan penuh percaya diri. Salah satu cara penanaman nilai pendidikan karakter anak autis dilakukan melalui dongeng. Dongeng merupakan media efektif untuk menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter kepada anak autis.
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan gangguan komunikatif dalam tuturan lisan anak autis. Data penelitian berupa rekaman dialog tuturan anak autis di Kota Malang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik perekaman dan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. Pertama, ekolalia merupakan bentuk pengulangan kata, frasa, atau kalimat dalam tuturan dari orang lain. Kedua, abnormalitas pengucapan meliputi ketidaknormalan dalam proses, cara, dan perbuatan mengucapkan. Suara anak autis cenderung tersendat-sendat, dengan volume yang rendah, dan menunjukkan pola intonasi yang “aneh”. Ketiga, gangguan produksi bahasa yaitu kesulitan dalam menghasilkan kata-kata dari sistem simpanan auditorisnya untuk menyampaikan keinginannya.Kata kunci: gangguan komunikatif, tuturan lisan, anak autis COMMUNICATIVE DISORDERS IN ORAL SPEECH OF AUTISTIC CHILDRENAbstractThis study aims to describe communicative disorders in oral speech of autistic children. The research data were in the form of the recording of dialogues of autistic children in Malang. The data collection used recording and observation techniques. The results of the study are as follows. First, ecolalia is a form of repetition of words, phrases, or sentences in others’ speech. Second, abnormalities of pronunciation include abnormalities in the process, manner, and act of utterance. The voice of an autistic child tends to be halting with a low volume, and shows a “strange” intonation pattern. Third, the language production disorder is the difficulty in generating the words from the auditory deposit system to express ideas.Keywords: communicative disorders, oral speech, autistic children
