Palabras clave autoeficacia; autorregulación; Burnout en profesores; irritación a b S T r a c T Self-Efficay and Self-Regulation as moderating variables of work stress in Elementary School teachers. The main purpose of this article is to deepen into the possible moderating role of variables such as self-efficacy and selfregulation in the experience of work stress. Revision of previous research is not conclusive, for this reason this investigation can yield empirical evidence on the relation between these variables. The sample consisted of 106 elementary school teachers; these workers have been reported to undergo important levels of stress in their jobs. Four instruments were used in this investigation, the Irritation Scale and the Brief Burnout Questionnaire to assess the dependent variables and the General Self-Efficacy Scale and the Self-Regulation Scale as independent variables to explain the model. Correlation and lineal multiple regression analyses were carried out. Results obtained confirmed initial hypotheses, since subjects scoring higher in selfefficacy and self-regulation show lower levels of stress. Regression analysis showed a lower role to the independent variables considered in the model than expected, although results were significant.
The aim of this paper was to analyze the training needs and career guidance, as well as the guidance received in the adult population in the Spanish region of Castile and Leon. This work is part of the R & D project "The orientation of the vital and professional project in adulthood: Needs analysis, assessment of employment services and identification of best practices". Currently, the importance of vocational dimension in personal and social welfare is now recognized. The sample consisted of 375 subjects, mostly unemployed or in a position **PsychologyDepartment. E-mail: enrique.merino@uva.es ***Psychology Department.. E-mail: sulum@psi.uva.es ****Department of Sociology. E-mail: jesusboyano@hotmail.com to improve their employment situation. Through the SPSS version 20 program, data corresponding to the descriptive statistics were obtained, as well as reliability values obtained by Cronbach's alpha coefficient, the correlation analysis, and the ANOVA findings. The results showed a positive relationship between the satisfaction with the career followed and the content of training. In addition, it was found that the importance of training content fits the profile of the participants in the training process. Subjects with a lower level of studies showed significant differences in training needs in relation to subjects with higher education. Keywords career, life projects, training needs, counseling services. Coaching is a process of growth that has expanded into many areas. From a theoretical perspective the coaching has three major theoretical lines or schools: North American (Leonard), European (Gallwey and Whitmore) and South American (Flores, Echeverría, Olalla and Maturana). An effective coach has empathy, builds trust, is professional and uses methodologies. Finally, an experience is described in the classroom where the students are involved in a process of coaching. Keywords: Coaching, academic coaching, development, growth.
