USE OF TECHNOLOGY, INFORMATION, AND COMMUNICATION LEARNING MEDIA IN IMPROVING LEARNING RESULTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PLACESThis study uses quantitative design with Quasi Experiment. This study is aimed at improving students’ achievement subtheme my surrounding through the use of information and technology based media. Sample of this study are fourth grade students from class A and C in Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cimahpar 1 comprise of 65 students. This research was conducted in even semester of academic year 2018/2019. Analysis technique used in this research is data analysis prerequisite test which include galat normality test, homogeneity variance test, then hypothesis test is done using t test. Based on the result of data analysis N-Gain score for students’ achievement using information and technology based media is 80,8 and students’ mastery result is 96,9 %. On the other hands learning using conventional media the N-Gain score is 70,2 and students’ mastery result is 84,8 %. The result of hypothesis testing shows that is rejected and is accepted because tvalue (3,39915) > ttable (1,99834). Based on the research above it can be concluded that there is a difference result between students’ achievement on subtheme my surrounding through the use of information technology based media and conventional media. Therefore it can be said that the use of information technology based media is effective for learning. It means that students have interest in learning, active in discussion, and motivated in doing classroom activity.
THE CONTRIBUTION OF PARENTS MONITORING TO THE INDEPENDENCE OF STUDENTS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLThe research objective is to examine the contribution of parental monitoring to learning outcomes indirectly through student independence. Type of quantitative research. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used path analysis. The results of the study with parental monitoring, contribute simultaneously to independence. Partially, parental monitoring does not contribute directly to learning outcomes and indirectly contributes positively through independence. Partially, parental monitoring affects independence by 7.34%.
This research aimed to find out the students’ perception and challenges in lteaching and learning process through Pow Toon software. Qualitative data are gained from classroom observation, questionnaire, and interview. The qualitative data are analysed by assembling the data, coding the data, comparing the data to the theory, building interpretations, and reporting the outcomes. The result of the research shows the students' perceptions of learning through this kind of software and describes the challenges found by both the teachers and the students. Thus, it is also found out that learning by using animation video also make a learning process more interesting. However, one of the challenges that the students found in learning through the animation video from Pow Toon software is the motion of the animation itself that distract students’ concentration; therefore, the teachers who will use the media should consider best instructional technique in the teaching and learning process. In addition, the duration when the explanation on the video is too fast. So they need to extra concentrate to the material itself. Yet, the use of digital media in teaching and learning process is one of innovative ways and it is a necessity for the millenium era.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tentang Efektivitas Latsar CPNS Pusdiklat SDM LHK pada tingkat reaksi, pembelajaran, perilaku dan hasil. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Kirckpatrick. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Pusat Diklat SDM Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Bogor. Populasi penelitian adalas peserta Latsar CPNS angkatan 4 tahun 2018. Pengumpulan data untuk setiap variabel menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik analisis menggunakan Analisis Deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tingkat reaksi, diketahui peserta menyatakan pelatihan telah dilaksanakan secara efektif. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada tingkat pembelajaran peserta menyatakan pelatihan telah dilaksanakan secara efektif. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada tingkat perilaku peserta menyatakan telah dilaksanakan secara efektif. Khusus untuk partisipasi dalam kerja tim, responden menilai belum optimal yaitu cukup efektif. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada tingkat hasil atasan langsung peserta pelatihan menyatakan telah efektif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil evaluasi terhadap Latsar CPNS telah dilakukan secara efektif.
Rice planting on dry and wet seasons faces a specific climatological characteristic, which affects directly on rice growth and yield. Fifteen rice genotypes were evaluated for their seasonal planting adaptation at Sukamandi Experimental Station, Subang, West Java, during the dry and wet seasons of 2009-2010.<br />Randomized complete block design with three replications was applied on the experiment. Plot size was 4 m x 6 m and plant spacing was 20 cm x 20 cm. Standard agronomic practices were applied on both planting season experiments. Data were collected for major morphological traits, days to grain maturity and grain yield, measured on wet and dry basis (11% moisture content). Data were analysed for analyses of variance for each season and for combined seasons, and mean values separation of the variable used the 5% Duncan Multiple Range Test. Correlation between grain yields and morphological variable data were computed for each season and for combined seasons. The correlation coefficients of variables and grain yield were partitioned into direct and indirect causes using path analyses. Combined analyses of variances indicated significant effects of genotypes, seasons and genotypes x seasons interaction for almost all variables, including grain yields, suggesting there were seasonal adaptation specificity among genotypes. Five genotypes were identified as suitable for dry season planting, and nine<br />genotypes as suitable for wet season planting. Among those genotypes, three genotypes, namely Mekongga, Inpari-10 and OM 5240 were suitable for both dry and wet season planting. Ciherang and Cigeulis varieties were more suitable for dry season, while Cibogo, Inpari-1, Inpari-3, Inpari-5, and Inpari-8 were more suitable for wet season planting. Adopting the most productive rice varieties for planting on dry or wet season as was suggested on this research should increase rice production substantially. To facilitate the availability of varieties adapted<br />for a specific planting season, rice breeding should purposedly apply a directional selection of lines suitable for specific planting season, starting on the early generation of selection. <br />
