This research study aims to systematically review a variety of digital technologies that are currently developing so rapidly to be optimally utilized according to the ability of teachers and technological devices owned by schools, teachers, and students. This study uses the method of review of integrative literature. This method combines various empirical and research-based articles, books, and other published literature on digital competencies and their use in 21st century education. The literature research concludes: 1) Digital literacy is the awareness, attitude, and ability of individuals to properly use tools and digital facilities to identify, access, manage, integrate, evaluate, analyze, and synthesize digital resources, build new knowledge, make media expressions, and communicate with others, in the context of certain life situations, to enable constructive social action; 2) Digital competency is a set of knowledge, skills, attitudes needed when using ICT and digital media for various needs; 3) Digital technology that can be used by schools / teachers in the learning process including interactive whiteboards (IWB), software applications, Web 2.0, and social media; and 4) Utilization of digital technology in learning can increase students' interest and motivation in learning, the quality of learning processes, and learning outcomes, but need to pay attention to various aspects of the ability of human resources, security, and health of teachers and students.
Penelitian literatur ini bertujuan untuk mencari solusi terkait dengan upaya meningkatan perhatian siswa khususnya ditingkat awal yaitu kelas 1, 2 dan 3 terhadap tugas belajarnya selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung menggunakan media pembelajaran visual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur integratif. Metode ini menggabungkan berbagai artikel berbasis empiris dan penelitian, buku, dan literatur lain yang dipublikasikan tentang penggunaan media visual dalam meningkatkan perhatian belajar siswa kelas awal tersebut. Penelitian literatur ini menyimpulkan: (1) Perhatian adalah proses pemilihan informasi yang dikontrol secara sukarela oleh subjek (sadar), atau dapat karena pengaruh beberapa peristiwa eksternal yang ditangkap indera (tidak sadar); (2) Proses perhatian terjadi melalui seleksi, kesadaran, dan control; (3) Model media visual yang digunakan sebaiknya bervariasi baik media pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh guru maupun media dari internet. Media visual dalam bentuk infografis merupakan model media visual yang paling disarankan; (4) Implikasi dari fungsi media visual terhadap memori penginderaan antara lain: (a) memori pengindera hanya dapat mengolah informasi dalam jumlah terbatas, sehingga media visual yang digunakan untuk menyajikan materi pembelajaran perlu didesain sedemikian sehingga informasi-informasi kunci dapat diterima oleh siswa dengan baik; (b) memori penginderaan yang memiliki daya serap paling tinggi adalah indera penglihatan, sehingga mengkombinasikan sajian informasi visual dapat meningkatkan jumlah informasi yang mampu diterima oleh memori pengindera. AbstractThis literature research aims to find solutions related to efforts to increase the attention of students, especially at the initial level, grades 1, 2 and 3 of their learning tasks during the learning process takes place using visual learning media. This study uses the method of review of integrative literature. This method combines various empirical and research-based articles, books, and other published literature on the use of visual media in increasing the attention of students learning in the early grades. This literature research concludes: (1) Attention is the process of selecting information that is voluntarily controlled by the subject (conscious), or it can be due to the influence of some external events that are sensed (unconscious); (2) The process of attention occurs through selection, awareness, and control; (3) The visual media model used should vary both the learning media made by the teacher and the media from the internet. Visual media in the form of infographics is the most recommended visual media model; (4) The implications of the function of visual media on sensing memory include: (a) memory sensors can only process information in a limited amount, so that the visual media used to present learning material needs to be designed so that key information can be received properly by students; (b) sensing memory that has the highest absorption power is the sense of sight, so combining visual information offerings can increase the amount of information that the sensory memory can receive.
Principal leadership is an important component that determines the direction and achievement of school performance. The purpose of this study was to identify the behavior and formulate a theoretical model of the Structural Equation Model (SEM) dimension of the principal leadership on school performance. This study used a qualitative approach using the phenomenological method. Participants in this study were 8 principals and 16 teachers from 8 private junior high schools in the Bogor City and Regency. Data collection employed in-depth interview techniques, observation of work behavior, and document review. Data validity was based on credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability criteria during the data collection. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of organizing data, sorting them into manageable units, searching and finding patterns, synthesizing, and drawing conclusions. This research finds the following: 1) the leadership behavior of private secondary school principals to achieve optimal school performance tends to be situational and conditional; 2) interrelation in the form of direct or indirect causal relationships between the principal leadership behavior and the school performance can be formulated in the form of the theoretical SEM consisting of a four-level dimension of the principal leadership.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tentang Efektivitas Latsar CPNS Pusdiklat SDM LHK pada tingkat reaksi, pembelajaran, perilaku dan hasil. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Kirckpatrick. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Pusat Diklat SDM Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Bogor. Populasi penelitian adalas peserta Latsar CPNS angkatan 4 tahun 2018. Pengumpulan data untuk setiap variabel menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik analisis menggunakan Analisis Deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tingkat reaksi, diketahui peserta menyatakan pelatihan telah dilaksanakan secara efektif. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada tingkat pembelajaran peserta menyatakan pelatihan telah dilaksanakan secara efektif. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada tingkat perilaku peserta menyatakan telah dilaksanakan secara efektif. Khusus untuk partisipasi dalam kerja tim, responden menilai belum optimal yaitu cukup efektif. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada tingkat hasil atasan langsung peserta pelatihan menyatakan telah efektif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil evaluasi terhadap Latsar CPNS telah dilakukan secara efektif.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan cara meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik melalui literasi digital. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Swasta Se-Kecamatan Bogor Timur Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini berjumlah 119 guru tetas Yayasan GTY dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 91 guru, dengan penentuan sampelnya menggunakan rumus slovin dengan toleransi kesalahan sebesar 5%. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain analisis korelasi . Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas kompetensi pedagogik dan literasi digital. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen dalam bentuk kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deksriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitiannya terdapat pengaruh positif yang sangat signifikan antara variabel literasi digital terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dengan kekuatan hubungan yang rendah (r = 0,261 p<0,01). Adanya hubungan positif artinya semakin tinggi literasi digital maka kompetensi pedagogik semakin tinggi. Teori-teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini masih terbatas dan dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, memungkinkan munculnya teori-teori baru yang dapat menjelaskan tentang kompetensi pedagogik yang kemudian dapat memberikan hasil yang berbeda pada penelitian-penelitian lainnya.
