Perceptions in the Use of Web-based Character Assessment from Gnder Perspective. Objectives: the purpose of this study is to determine the perception of the use of web characters based on gender differences. Methods: This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. Participants were eighth grade students of SMPN 6 Batanghari with a sample of 140 students. The data collection technique used a student perception questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics in the form of t-test. Findings: The results of the study found that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) female students in grades A and B were 0.031 and 0.020 while the value of Sig. (2-tailed) male students in grades A and B are 0.033 and 0.021. Female students reported to have better perceptions than male students. Conclusion: Students have varied perceptions about web-based character assessment and female students' perception is better than others.
The purpose of this study was to describe the science process skills of the XI grade science students at public high school (SMAN 1) Muaro Jambi through the viscosity material physics practicum. The researcher used a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted in November 2020. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA 2 at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi, totaling 30 students and the data were collected using a total sampling technique. In this study, a research instrument was used in the form of an observation sheet of science process skills that had been validated by an expert validator, then the data from the scientific process skills obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the research on students 'science process skills in viscosity practicum showed that the level of students' science process skills was at a very good level, students were able to do experiments skillfully and correctly where students were skilled in observing, classifying, communicating, measuring, and predicting, while in concluding skills fall into the good category. The percentage of very good categories is 46.7% observation skills, 43.3% classification skills, 33.3% communication skills, 33.3% measuring skills and 26.7% predictive skills, while 33.3% concluding skills are categorized as good..
The context of learning in the 4.0 revolution era is currently a challenge, especially in education at the university level. Creative learning processes need to be developed so that learning patterns need to be updated by placing students as learning subjects and applying more flexible learning media. This study aims to analyze the level of closeness of the relationship and see whether there is a simultaneous (together) and partial effect between digital literacy and students' self-directed learning. This research leads to quantitative research. The research instrument used was an open and closed questionnaire. The questionnaire used in this study was an open and closed questionnaire. The sample in this study was 33 students using the purposive sampling technique. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative analysis, quantitative and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was a correlation that had a simultaneous effect. It can be concluded that there is a strong correlation level and has a simultaneous and partial influence between digital literacy and students' self-directed learning on the use of e-modules in evaluating the process and learning outcomes of courses. The use of e-modules can make it easier for students to learn and can improve independent learning in students.
This study aims to find out how the differences in students' perceptions of the use of web-based character assessments were analyzed by gender and to determine the differences in the acquisition of students' perception assessments of the use of webbased character assessments in junior high schools in Batanghari Regency, Indonesia. The population in this study was a junior high school in Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province, Indonesia with a sample of 322 students using purposive sampling technique. The quantitative method used in this research is descriptive and inferential analysis method to obtain assumption testing (normality and homogeneity) and hypothesis testing (Anova). The results showed that in the variable of student perceptions of the use of web-based character assessment, there was a significant average difference between female students and male students. Then on the student character variable there is also a significant average difference between female students and male students.
